Welcoming place. It faces a busy street and doesn’t have a parking lot; I found curbside parking behind the establishment on one of the side streets nearby. I enjoyed my dish and thought it had a very authentic taste and preparation (reminiscent of spicy Hunan cuisine). The owner is helpful and explains English/Chinese translations of the dishes. Most dishes besides appetizers are $10 and up but they offer large portions for the price. Will come again!

Quality food bursting with flavor. Slightly on the spicy side. Duck was moist and delicious, not dry like other places. Hospitable service, we were the only ones and food came out within 10 minutes.

I used to go to Fugu every week but their quality and service has gone downhill in the past year or so. This is my new place to go to. Fantastic spicy food. My favorite thing on the menu is the beef stew with cilantro. It’s a little bit pricey for a college student budget but definitely a fair price and good portions.

My new favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Quick dine-in service. I haven’t tried delivery. If you are a fastidious vegetarian they have a vegetarian section on the menu. They don’t speak very fluent English, but I take that as a positive sign that they’ll serve me authentic food 😉

I have ate here about 5-6 times in the past 4 months, prior to this review I could tell the the quality of the food was slipping (it was really good the first time when they opened) so I gave take out from this place a rest, however this time the food was beyond unpalatable to the point where I couldn’t chew the chicken and had to spit it out and ended up throwing away the whole meal, not to mention the overpowering chili garnish that’s on everything even if it doesn’t go with food. The menu is hilariously large even for a chinese place and the service is terrible, out of touch, and overpriced. You would imagine being 1 of 4 Asian restaurants within a block the food would at least be good, sadly it’s not.

Food is fresh and better quality than MOST Chinese restaurants around campus area. Also, lots of variety and options to choose from. The best Spicy Eggplant I’ve had in Madison. Must try. Super friendly staff!

Forget this place for delivery. I had them deliver food less then half a mile amd the dude was asking for a tip. Bought 1 entree and 3 sodas to reach the minimum of $15. On top of that there was a delivey fee of $2. So would you tip?? Also the food wasn’t great. I wanted to try a new place, but very dissappointing. Should of stuck with my gut and ordered from Orient House.
