The absolute best fried catfish in the country. This place has been my gold standard for my entire life for fried fish. The cornmeal breading and perfect level of salt and spices make every bite perfect. The owners and staff are super nice and always friendly. Great for large parties due to ample seating, but they also do reasonably priced to-go plates.

We went to eat, me, my fiancee and 10 year old daughter. We paid $60 for barely anything. It’s 20 per adult and 15 for an “older kid.” Drinks are included but it still wasn’t worth the price for their buffet. They had about six options for food. Corn, hush puppies and slaw were good, everything else wasn’t. Fries were cold, the fish were small, and not many options on the buffet. Sweet tea was awesome. I’m not sure why this place gets a five star review. You can’t order plates unless it’s carry out. I’d say those are better bc they may cook that to order. We won’t be back. It’s sad we wasted $60 on it. We had one plate each and left. Some of the locals told us afterwards it’s not as good as it once was when they switched ownership.

Catfish was very bland, only corn on the cob (that tasted like the kind you got in school), onion rings, hush puppies, Cole slaw and stale fries for sides. Was hoping for some good country cooking, but was very disappointed. For $20/plate, I really hoped for a better meal.

Been coming here since I could walk. But the last several times have been bad. They close at 9:00. Walked in at 8:14 and they were giving us the stink eye at the door. We walked up to the front and we told her we have three people. Glared up at us and said “I guess I’ll let y’all in. We close at 9:00.” Which was very rude. Maybe some good math lessons would help her out cause 46 minutes is plenty of time for going through a buffet. If you want to close at 8:30 just do that. Fish were small and cold with no taste and soggy. Onion rings cold. Corn was good. Slaw was good. Fries were cold and bland. Hush puppies were absolutely terrible like a grease soaked sponge. No other options (which I wouldn’t care about if the rest of it was good, but it was not). Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Checked on us often. 20 bucks for terrible food and a mostly rude staff. Will not waste my money here anymore. I see why the parking lot was empty.

I was really excited about this place. When I attended Ole Miss , we made a visit and it was great. This time ,however, I was very disappointed. As my husband and I were eating, a RAT ran under a table. I asked the hostess to inform the owner and asked for a refund because I lost my appetite. My husband over heard the owner tell the hostess “ I bet they still ate though but give her the refund.” So the hostess gave a partial refund (at the owners request ) since my husband had eaten most of his first and only plate at an all can eat buffet. Meanwhile the workers kept saying “it’s cold outside so the rats are going to come inside”, as if that is an excuse. The way the owner handled this situation shows he truly doesn’t care about his customers.
