Went on a Saturday night, the restaurant was busy but the wait was short. They will text you when your table is ready so you can wander nearby, there is an arcade across the street that is a nice place to wait. The atmosphere is lively and the staff attentive. I could have filled up on the complimentary chips and enjoyed the papaya salad. Nice place to linger enjoying company, food, and good vibes.

Amazing service by a personable and knowledgeable server. Food and margaritas were amazing. Try not to fill up on the amazing chips and salsa. I had the Snapper Vera Cruz which was awesome. Friends had the fish tacos, which were huge and delicious. Atmosphere is fun and the Creamery location is . Will come again.

Amazing! So glad we found you! We moved to the area and have been seriously looking for an upscale Mexican restaurant with amazing food and margaritas – La Esquina is it! We knew from the moment the chips and salsa came with our amazing margaritas that we were in for a fantastic meal. They didn’t disappoint. The wait staff were very friendly and did an excellent job of asking questions of us before recommending and their suggestions were spot on. We will be back again and again! Thank you.

Fun spot, family friendly. Prices decent for the area. Food was enjoyable; the fajitas were a little heavy on the green bell pepper but enjoyable. Guacamole was tasty, beans were good with a little spice, rice wasn’t the most exciting, but good nonetheless. Al pastor was bomb, would order that burrito again and again.

Too expensive for the food served, surf and turf had little to no taste.. Tacos were also no good, dry lack taste. Salas were the only thing I actually enjoyed and the salad was also good.

Seriously one of my favorite restaurants on the central coast! The queso, the quac and al pastor are our family’s favorites!! My husband is always hopeful you will bring back the ribs from the distillery menu!

WOW! As a tourist of SLO for over 35 years, we were told by the UBER driver that this is one of the best places to eat in SLO, and, he was right. The food, ambiance and most of all our server, TOM, yes gotta mention Tom, made the very short wait time worth it. Highly recommend the food here. We had classic Margherita’s, Guac, Chips, Salsa and Hot gooey cheese. Main course was Chile Relleno’s and Chicken Enchilada’s. Everything perfect in every way. We will be back in SLO in fall and will definitely enjoy another delicious meal. Kudos to La Esquina!
