In 1993 Filiberto’s opened its first best Mexican fast-food restaurant in Mesa, AZ. Our gamble paid off and within a few short years we opened 10 new Mexican fast-food restaurants that offered a great, fresh and tasty Mexican food selection, friendly service, clean facilities and carry out.
Fast forward to present day and Filiberto’s now boasts more than 93 Mexican fast food restaurants that span over 3 states. I’ve had some breakfast burritos from this Filiberto’s on numerous occasions and they always seem to do a great job. If I had one complaint it would be that sometimes (not very often) the tortillas are a little crumbly and tear easily. Still great though. I consider these guys a go to burrito stop. I didn’t rate the atmosphere because I usually don’t eat there, I get it to go. But anytime I order through the drive through they are pretty cool, no complaints.

I have gone to this Filiberto’s location twice now and have been beyond disappointed both times. The first time I ordered a breakfast burrito and the bacon was old – it tasted like they previously made the bacon and reheated it. The second time I ordered rolled tacos and it tasted like they heated up the tacos in the microwave and the guacamole was gross, it started turning brown by the time I got home. I’ve heard similar complaints from other people about the food at this location. Don’t bother ordering from this location, drive the extra couple of miles and go to the Cortaro location.

So far the best filbertos in Marana area. Foods always delicious. Only issue I get is that the person running the drive thru always forgets to ask what drink I want with my combo. Other than that. I’m very satisfied.

Orderd the chili rellino platter WITH NO SAUCE…. she even repeated it to me…we took our orders to go…get home and it’s covered in sauce!!! My husband’s order (burritio) was perfect… of course since it was covered in sauce I didn’t eat it as I hate them covered in sauce which I why I asked for NO SAUCE!! So needless to say… I had no lunch!!! Gee thanks alot as I was looking forward to it…. at least my husband got to eat… I tried to call to complain and no one will answer the phone…goes to voice-mail..
