The Worst food I ever had. I ordered the oxtail wt Jollof rice the menu price said $16.99 when the lady rang me up she told me it’s $25.99 I asked her for the menu she gave it to me and I showed her that the price says $ 16.99 she said the price changed. I gave her cash and waited for my change she told me she didn’t have any change. I waited over 1.5 hrs for my order. It was a plate of rice no meat ,she just put bones on top the rice .NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The flavors were bland in my opinion. In fairness, it was my first time eating African food so I’ll need to try it again somewhere else just to be sure. The wait was 30 minutes. You’re definitely going to want to use a credit card to purchase your food because the register had no change. I simply ended up giving the store a tip… and the atmosphere is less than inviting. The customer service was good as the people were friendly.

The owners make you feel like family. You can dine in or carry out. Each order is prepared fresh. They have table space for about 50 people and can hold private parties or events. They also have a catering option for up to 1,000 people. I noted they also have added a retail portion to their store. They specialize in African and Caribbean food and a have an extensive menu. The food is always delicious.

Best african food I’ve had on DC so far. I got jollof cassava leaves and fish. I wish it were spicy and its a liiiittle salty but not too overwhelming that its inedible. Thank you for ending my night well. I ordered from Rahama silver spring earlier and they sent me the wrong food. I used to eat from the Woodbridge location when I lived there but I don’t drive and live on dc now. I’ll be ordering from yall again!

Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I am always on the hunt for a restaurant that serves cassava leaf. I ended up giving the food I ordered away as I was disappointed with the 4 pieces of goat meat in the Cassava stew. Also, the suya was tough and that jollof rice was subpar. The staff was super friendly and nice, but I will not be back.

Never again!!!!!! The fish was old, hard and fried. I basically paid for a tray full of rice! The little egusi I did receive wasn’t good at all I’m so disappointed I waited almost two hours and everything else is closed

I sat outside for 30 minutes until they opened at 12pm just to be told the kitchen wasn’t ready to cook food yet. When I finally ordered delivery the food was subpar and not worth the time or money.
