We came in for lunch. We noticed many of our favorite dishes have been removed from the menu. To drink we ordered mango iced tea, watermelon iced tea and water with lemon. The iced teas tasted good.

I can recall a time when Chili’s was one of my favorite chain restaurants. Occasionally I still give it a chance, but despite multiple revamped menu offerings… it continually fails to impress. I had the gourmet brisket burger that you can actually request cooking temps on. I had mine at medium, which it was, but the patty just didn’t have the gourmet burger flavor. The brisket was almost nonexistent and as bland as the burger. With it costing more that the double 1lb burger… I was expecting to see brisket piled on. Service and friendliness was great and they largely provided what I expected… so 4 stars.

Chili’s in Mandeville has been around for a long time for a reason. The food and drinks are top notch and service is usually really good. This Chili’s is in the perfect spot and close to everything. Our meal came out pretty quick and our server was great for our dinner date. Will definitely be back!

I go to Chili’s often (like 1-2x a week), and this time was not a good visit. The hostess was rude when we walked in. The waitress is the main reason for 3 stars at this location. Really sweet & very attentive; she did mess up on the drinks but it happens, I can look past that. The thing I cannot though was the hair that was in one of the dishes!!! If it wouldn’t have been for that, it would have gotten 5 stars. The waitress had the manager take off that (without being asked) and she apologized several times.

My bowl of soup was made into a cup because my container is half empty. Every employee packages this item different. I order it a lot! The tortilla strips you see in the bowl is all I got! It barely covered the bottom of a to go ramekin. I asked where is the cheese on the side. She said that it’s in the bowl. And I tipped for this!

I’ve always liked chili’s, and it was always busy. But for some reason lately, they’ve been closing down one entire side of the restaurant. It’s always a 50/50 shot on when you can be seated immediately or you have to wait 1 hour while looking and a half empty restaurant. We always hear the staffing issue as the reason.
