I loved it. The first piece of salmon sushi I ate made me cry because it was so good I’m not kidding. I don’t know ive ever cried over food before but it was that perfect bite I’ve been looking for my whole life. The fish was so fresh and soft and they gave very generous pieces of fish. Thank you very much to the chefs for the amazing experience. They also have a very good drink variety and good service and atmosphere. As far as price I would say I paid about the same amount I would pay at any sushi restaurant but way better quality food and service. Definitely worth it. I actually ended up going 2 days in a row because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Thank you guys!

We had a fabulous lunch! One with chicken. 2 with steak and 1 with shrimp. The food was awesome… and the service was great. We did the hibachi instead of table and we throughly enjoyed. We will return!

We came for a birthday dinner, we had steak and shrimp hibachi. Despite it being prom night, apparently, there was ample seating and it was pleasantly not very loud at all. I will say that the hostess was a little snarky… Not a great first impression.

I have eaten at two different Shoguns and I am here to tell you that this was definitely the best one I have been to. Great customer services, high quality food, quick return of food once ordered. Nice and clean. Well laid out but the booth are a bit high for my taste. The even were patient with my crying grand baby. I would come back to this place if I am in town again!

We’ve had Shogun for dinner multiple times over the years. The food is probably the best Japanese food in New Caney (if not the only). The chef, when sitting at the hibachi, is entertaining more times than not. The sushi is good but only a few rolls we’ve had so far have been great. We’ve never had any bad dishes here. A few of the appetizers could be bigger in size to make them worth the price.

We had a great time. We didn’t do the teppanyaki and just got a table for 5. The kids we worried about trying sushi but after we left they all said how good it was and how much they liked it. Service was great but I don’t like how they automatically add gratuity to a family of 5. Food was awesome!!! Really liked the salad and soup that came out first. After talking 1 kid into trying the rolls they all wanted to try it. Can’t wait to go back and try different rolls. Soooo many to chose from. Make sure you get some warm sake….it’s a game changer.

This was our first time here. We went around 2pm today and everything was excellent. Today was my daughters birthday and she enjoyed everything. Its hard to impress an 18 year old now days. We will definitely be returning. We did Hibachi and the Chef was 200% on point.
