Sushi basics are always fresh and delicious with lots to choose from, or you can order hot food from the kitchen with delicious and quick service. Very friendly staff. Owner is extremely pleasant. I come here for Sushi. Soup and salad are good and usually comes with what I order. Nigiri is good fresh fish. I recommend the Mount Dora roll and the Japan Express roll.

Great place for a roll or two. We had the lunch special with two rolls, soup and ginger salad. The rolls were really good and definitely a new go to place. Staff was kind, knowledeable and efficent. Some of the best ginger salad I have ever had, the little things show the care and concern the kitchen has for the menu. Stop by for lunch.

The food was definitely lacking the “Hibachi” flavor. I saw like a drizzle of the sauce flavoring on the food.. unlike other hibachi Japanese restaurants they cook it with the seasoning. So I’m not sure what happened. But I’m sure it could be better.

The food wasn’t too bad. But the waitress took my order and they brought my food and that was the last I saw of anybody. They waited on everyone else and never came back even to ask how’s everything, do you need anything else, not to bring a check or ask if I wanted a go box. Nice owner/manager and employee. Having lived in Japan and Hawaii I just don’t know how this restaurant got almost 4.5 stars. Overcooked, tasteless, and the furthest thing from Japanese food. Didn’t have sushi, but considering what we bought for nearly $40. I would not consider sushi either. So sorry.

The service is excellent and friendly. The restaurant is very simple inside with no atmosphere to speak of. The sushi is fresh and very reasonably priced, and if you order a sushi or sashimi regular or deluxe, you will get soup and salad. My husband had the hibachi which he said was very good.
