Our flagship cafe is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Mill Valley. The cafe vibe is laid back with casual outdoor and indoor seating and a fresh menu of made-to-order sweet and savory waffles, salads, and egg sandwiches.
Mill Valley’s history runs through the cafe, from its rich coffee roots to the salvaged railroad ties and bicycle parts used to create its patio furniture. Sip a cappuccino or a glass of wine. Throw back a double macchiato or a pint of beer. You’ll find yourself coming back for more.
Hip local coffeehouse chain serving single-origin coffee, tea & light eats. Based on 506 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 stars. Price $$

Nice little chill place . Had the habibi coffee and some pastries . About 10-15 seats to sit indoors . Prices are decent as you’d expect in Marin County. Staff was very kind

Long time customer, finally reviewing. Waffles are a must, and coffee is a bit but always good. Wait can be long on weekends, order ahead. Open air vibes, and lots of active customers.

Weekends or peak times: I’ve found that if you are ordering anything besides a drip coffee the wait can be absurd. My family and I often come to this area on Sunday mornings. Today I had to wait about 30 mins for a matcha latte and iced chai. On the weekends or popular times this has been the norm. Absolutely absurd to have to wait that long for a drink!!! Quality of food and drink are good, staff is mostly friendly – yet with the place over flowing with people and order tickets spilling out, some staff look very stressed out. The place was packed with people waiting and checking on orders. Not sure what could help, I’d rather go elsewhere.

I had the best tasting most perfect cappuccino I’ve ever had at Equator Coffee in Mill Valley this week. I can’t wait to return!

SO good. Got the iced maple walnut latte and it was to die for. Not too sweet, not too much milk to drown out the coffee. It was perfect. The food options were fantastic, I picked up a cardamom bun (very rare to see those!) and very strongly regretted having lunch because the BLAT looked great. The coffee was smooth yet complex. Really impressed and I will definitely be back when I’m in the area again.

We stopped in here after our trek through Muir Woods. They were busy and seemed slightly unorganized but where able to accommodate every order. I was thrilled to find them and get a chance to try their Gluten-free waffles. It was perfect with a chi tea, it was just what I needed to warm me back up. I LOVED all the canine company!

Their Habibi Latte might be the best beverage I’ve ever had. The chocolate strawberry waffle was also delish, and the location has a “Cheers/Everyone Knows Your Name” vibe. Charming establishment in an even more charming town.

Great stop before hiking Muir Woods. Lots of food options (veggie friendly). The bagel was surprisingly delicious! Coffee is good too.

This store is increasingly poorly run. Very high wait times, often 20+ minutes late on mobile orders, chaotic staff scenes, late to open (I type this at 710am on a Sunday, and they expect it will be another 15 before they open). With other choices nearby, seems a pretty complacent way to run a business.
