Taco Tuesday at Sabor, is where it’s at! You have to try al pastor it was sautéed in a zesty, but sweet sauce with cilantro and onions on top served on a warm corn tortilla it was delicious . It was cooked just right, not under cooked or overcooked. Also, you can pick your own salsa from the salsa bar to spice up the tacos. You can start your order with chips and salsa or guacamole dip. I started with tacos and got a bowl of al pastor because it was so good. Servers are very helpful with what to pick from the menu if it’s your first time getting a taste of Sabor.

Better get there at least 1.5 hours before closing or you’ll be treated like a nuisance and have to beg for salsa since the clean that up way early. Food was awful and just thrown in a box.$10 for melted cheese in cardboard This place has gone down hill in a fast way. Pathetic. Not even a thank you from the staff.

5th visit, food was great. 3rd visit, 3 stars to 4. This location offers free kids meals w/ the purchase of an adult meal on Wednesday, so the price was unusually good. The Cuban bowl was excellent. Clean tables, good service when ordering. // (Prior review) First visit- happens to be taco Tuesday! (Today they had individual taco deals). Food was good. Nice overall menu. Good kids selection. A few mistakes with our order (5 people, 3 of which were kids). They corrected it ASAP. Space was a bit dirty, but we did arrive at the end of the dinner rush. Will return soon

This is not a typical Mexican food restaurant. It’s best to look it up online first and know what you want before you come. They take your order at the register, then you sit down, they bring it to you. It was all just okay, nothing special. Not to mention one bite of the arepas tradicional and juices went all down my shirt! I mean like get another shirt, down my shirt. I don’t think we’ll be back.

Good vegan options (for Charlotte which, as we all know, is terribly behind the times compared to other cities). The tofu ranchero is marinated in this yummy, rich red sauce. I heard from someone else who ate at Savor that they had some plain, unseasoned tofu there. Maybe it was a new cook or they hadn’t settled on a recipe for their tofu yet, but hopefully they keep serving up what I had because it was delicious. Also, the tofu ranchers burrito is massive. You can make two meals of it easily.
