I go here a lot. The taco prices have been raising but because meat prices do too. It still still cheaper than other places I’ve been to and way better. It’s running around $1.75 per taco but they have plate options as well. I love the food here, especially the quesabirria and street corn.

I’ve only lived in Shawnee since October 2020. I came from a big city with tons of food trucks. Since discovering this place, I honestly can say, it’s better than anything I’ve had. Truly authentic Mexican food. Great prices. Great service/owners. Super nice. I visit there so much they know me, and always treat me like family. I recommend folks to try them. 5stars from me.

Went for the first time and got the ceviche and mulitas. The mulitas weren’t bad but weren’t spectacular. The ceviche was definitely not ceviche. Growing up on the border of Mexico, you grow accustomed to having traditional Mexican food. This was just an all around disappointment. The ceviche had a tomato base sauce and cucumbers in it. Idk. Just odd.

The food can be the most delicious, but on occasion, it has been too salty. I say that as a seasoning loving person. I love the barbacoa and the carnitas, also the al pastor. For the price, it’s great! You can call it in ahead of time. The woman working the window seemed to be in a bad mood a couple times.
