Mi Casita was once our favorite restaurant in Shelbyville. Unfortunately our last visit was very uncomfortable. Our server was very rude. I saw him roll his eyes at us multiple times. I’m a server myself so I have compassion for other servers. But he seemed very annoyed with us. We were a very easy 5 top. My kids were very well behaved so the server didn’t need a reason to roll his eyes at us. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Authentic Mexican Food full of flavor. The Chicken soup could use some cumin and a little more spice, but it was good. Ranchero sauce and chicken were also good. They served two salsas, one was milder without cilantro, if you prefer. The margarita was massive and delicious.

The waiter was not very friendly. He acted like we were bothering him. They brought us chips and salsa. There was a black hair in our chips. We paid for our soda’s and our queso Blanco that was $15.00 and left. Won’t be back.
