This was our first time dining @RJ’S. The hostess was attentive, accommodating & super cheerful. We were seated in the dining area where the bartender was our waitress. I was less than impressed, unfortunately. She did not introduce herself for starters. She apologized for the lengthy specials menu and seemed less than pleased when asked to repeat the menu. I also had to speak up over the bar from my table to order another drink. We were there @ 4:45 PM on a Saturday evening . There was not another table on our side & only one other couple at the bar during that time. The presentation of the food was lacking. I was a bit displeased with that. However the food came out hot & delicious. I don’t believe we’ll be back any time soon. I do hope that this constructive criticism helps improve the restaurant where it needs. Overall a good dining experience.

Absolutely phenomenal food paired with delicious cocktails and very kind and attentive staff. We’re local and this is our favorite restaurant when we’re hankering for an elevated dining experience. The service is always great and don’t forget to listen to ALL of the specials, some of the best dishes we’ve had have been specials not on the every day menu.

We dined there recently and, overall, really enjoyed it. We ordered the cold antipasto to start. The prosciutto, mozzarella, tomatoes as well as all the other fixings were all very good and fresh. Then I ordered the stuffed pork chop and my wife the Branzino. Both came out hot and delicious. We were very happy with our choices. The service was also great. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We were seated at a table in the bar area and I need to give a shout out to the bartender who not only acknowledged us, but also made some friendly small tallk as well. That doesn’t typically happen unless you are actually sitting at the bar. The only minor critique I have is the lengthy specials menu. I have no problem with all the specials, but I feel as though they should be printed up and given to the guests with the main menus. After our waitress ran through the lengthy list, I would have felt bad asking her to go through it again. A handout with specials would at least allow the guests some time to mull them over. But honestly, it’s minor. We’ll definitely be back and are excited to have another dinner spot in Pittsfield!

My husband took me here for my birthday and it was fantastic! The service was wonderful, and the special options gave us plenty of choices! I’ve had fish there twice, and each time, it is cooked perfectly and so tasty! Everyone from the hostest to the servers were warm and welcoming! Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner!

Reservation for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Kenneth was our waiter, and was Above and Beyond! He really made my daughter feel special. The food was phenomenal! The chef was amazing who even created a special dish for my ex mother in law! RJ’s sure did not disappoint! It was our first experience, but I assure you, not our last!

We were a party of four and were seated in a noisy room, next to us was a quitter area; but we were told all the tables were reserved. We ordered Fish & Chips, Fried Oysters, Mussels, and the steak special. All were just average; the steak special included a large piece of fat; which could have been trimmed in the kitchen. The best thing was the Special Beet salad; but be careful of the prices, ask first and check your receipt.

While it was our fault arriving late…. We did not get the joys of having a luxury meal since the kitchen was closing within 10 minutes of entering. Linguini with the white clam sauce was surely tasty.
