While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco’s delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way – on our signature open-flame grills – then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Gilbert,AZ, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

Ordered a large bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup. This location had less chicken & vegetables when compared to the other Pollo Loco establishments I’ve visited. This facility does not provide tortillas with their order. I was disappointed at that. They provided a cup of their cheese, cilantro. I ordered slices of avocados. Overall, clean and friendly service

From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and helpful. I let them know it was my first time trying their food since I moved here from Chicago. They even let me sample some of their chicken, and I must share that it is tasty and delicious. The place was super clean, and it smelled like their delicious grilled chicken. I can’t wait to go back and try their other options from the menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ordered with Uber Eats and… yet again… my order is wrong BUT this time is an extra treat. The large avocado salad had no cheese, tortilla chips, avocado or dressing. But the real star of the show are these 10 pieces of tiny chicken I paid over $40 for! This was the final straw for me with a restaurant I have been eating at for decades. Super unfortunate.

At the drive-thru I ordered one whole chicken. It was $19.99 which didn’t come with any sides or tortillas, just the chicken. Got home and all eight pieces were completely stale and dry and inedible, even the thighs. The price was ridiculous, the quality was ridiculous and I threw the whole thing away. Worst $20 I ever spent.

Foods great, (rec. 4 pc meal, 1/2 chicken)… the beans are so much better than anywhere else I have eaten here in Az. over the last 8 years… almost gud enuff to compare to “southern” food! Service is adequate, not a long wait.

Nice employees in drive thru. Accepted coupon and were patient with first time ordering off menu. Chicken unfortunately was a disappointment, lacking flavor , dried out and small. Sorry

Honestly, a great meal. Expectations were low. Chipotle burrito was satisfying. Highly recommend guac and chips. Horchata was decent enough.

I just delivered a catering order of dollars worth of the food for this restaurant I just delivered a $300 catering order for this restaurant and they stole my $35 tip to the customer left. If that’s not shady I don’t know what is. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs

Went in to eat. David was taking our order. He was patient and professional. Great job, David. Ordered a Chicken Burro and a Chicken Avacado Bowl. The food was good, but both were Rice Heavy. The Burro was 3/4 Rice, and I had to search for Chicken. I will admit the food is tasty. That saved the meal.

Price went up and quality/quantity went down. I often grab a Pollo bowl when I need a quick bite. This is my second time at this location and both times there’s hardly any chicken a ton of beans and way too much water/bean juice in the bowl. It’s just not worth it. They’re skimping far too much and it’s noticeable. Sad day, Pollo Loco was my go to spot.
