The food here is pretty good, but nothing special. I’ve tried a couple of burritos so far and they were good, but weren’t super flavorful or mind blowing. My wife however really liked what she’s gotten. She said it tastes very fresh. Not bad at all though, and the service is great! I’d recommend giving it a try for yourself.

Just went to pick up my bean and cheese burrito with guacamole and when I entered the taco shop the lady behind just ignored me while she did her paperwork. I was the only one in the building. When she finally approached me I told her I called in an order. She proceeded to give me my food and when I asked her if I could get some hot sauce she threw 2 little ones in the bag. I asked may I get two more. She rolled her eyes and said no 3 is the limit per item. Like what? I’ve never been told that at any taco shop nor have I felt like that was really rude. There’s plenty of taco shops in alpine I won’t be back. Service is everything

First tyme there. Ordered 2 California burritos inside restaurant. Were Only 2 there. No drive through. Took 19 minutes b4 it was ready. Both burritos were cold. Not warm. Grissley meat, fries ok, sour cream warm. Both of us had stomach aches, diarrhea came on about 3 hours later. Never again.

Food is fairly good, but charging $1.00 per request for onion is outrageous and overall, prices are way too high….we will not go back, especially when you can get a full plate of food for less at other Mexican restaurants than what this place charges. Our support for this business during the pandemic has been anything but honored.

This place is consistently decent to good. The last burrito I got was very skinny and disappointing. I actually just got back from Phoenix, Arizona and had a much better quality California burrito from a Rubios out there…nuff said!

Food was excellent. The lady serving was a bit stand offish but we all have bad days.

I love the food, I especially like that they have 2 types of guacamole so my kids can have no tomatoes and I can have the good stuff.

I have been eating at Alpine Taco Shop for 20 years and obviously then love it. Their rice and shredded beef and their potato tacos are some of my favorites, and they have good salsas and hot carrots with peppers and onions. This is what a great family-run So Cal taco shop should be.
