They had a really nice and welcoming atmosphere! They had fresh free pork rinds to start us off, and their brisket and ribs were fantastic. Their fried okra, Mac and cheese, and pinto beans were also fantastic sides that accompanied the main meats. Extremely reasonably priced and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

Yummy! Excellent brisket and ribs! The fried pickles and banana pudding are a most. Large portions and amazing staff. One of my favorite place in Lubbock:)

The three meat plate was good, but the portions were a bit small and the food was less than room temperature. The pork rinds for dine in were a nice touch, but we’d probably only return if the food was hot or at least warm.

I really enjoy this place! The service is most excellent, and the turkey is probably the best around! This is a great place for lunch. It’s not loud and rowdy, and it doesn’t get so crowded that you feel rushed and uncomfortable.

Great family atmosphere bbq restaurant! We had good portions abs great tasting food. We had the sliced brisket plate (thick pieces), chicken frito pie, and the pulled pork/bbq tacos. Tacos had great flavor. Prices were right on for what you get.

I have never had a single bad thing here. Their Frito pie is excellent. The pulled pork grilled cheese is awesome. The chicken fried brisket sounds questionable but is always a favorite, and their Wednesday meat loaf has become a new weekly addiction. They may also have the best onion rings in Lubbock, and complimentary pork rinds are very much appreciated. Their desserts are also top notch. You won’t be disappointed.

The price for the chopped bbq and side reasonable and worth it! Grandma and me ended up sharing bone. So now we have dinner too! Recommended water and no dessert. 2 BBQ with side, dessert and 2 drinks was 44$ not including tip. Still wanted to treat Grandma (102) in September. She loved it! Due the her age did not want to dine in. Though they don’t really do curbside, I explained out situation and the quickly and kindly accommodated! I have a feeling we’ll be back! Photos are after we divided and dived in.

Due to our original stop being closed, we went the other direction on 50th and found this gem. Every bit of food was great. The copped beef, the jalapeno sausage, the cracked black pepper sausage, and the sliced brisket. To top it off, the okra was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. And, the baked potato salad is a new favorite. Excellent all around – taste, service, and price.
