We were greeted with a great welcome as we walked in. Everyone there was so nice and helpful as we had never been there before. The food is all homemade and tasted wonderful. It was so good that I bought a casserole and peach cobbler to go to take to my husband. I will definitely be back.

The building is out dated but the food is fantastic. Different, classic Southern menu items offered daily. The homade pies and desserts alone that will have you going back.

They know how to make good home made tasting southern soul food. They’ve been a part of magtown for a long long time. What would magnolia be like without marlars cafeteria? It’s on my 5 favorite places to eat at list in town. But the building is way overdue for some attention, updating, and modernization. It’s the 21st century.

Good food, pricing reasonable, but the building needs a real good deep cleaning.

The food was great! Awesome home cooking. I do think they need to give the place an update. Maybe an interior facelift

Can give 4.5/5. Love this small original american restaurant. I like grilled chicken here. Staff is friendly and especially the front desk.

This is the place to eat in Magnolia. It is a cafeteria style restaurant and only open for lunch. The food was fantastic. Southern cooking at its finest. With so many options. I almost didn’t finish everything. The strawberry pie was awesome. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. The locals know it well. They will serve lunch until 2:00 or when the food is gone. Whichever comes first. So don’t wait until the last minute to head in for lunch.
