The food was amazing, and our server was very sweet. We sat outside, which was amazing, but we didn’t feel neglected at all!

Amazing 5-year anniversary experience, starting with the water- I’ve never liked the taste of sparkling until now! (Sparkling Mineral water included complimentarily, unusual but nice touch). Delicious passionfruit Bellini, the best duck I’ve ever had (with the fat perfectly crusted) in a savory fig glaze, also a watermelon-mint caprese salad appetizer was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Beautiful restaurant!

We enjoyed trying this restaurant for the first time during the Queen’s Feast. The Polipo (octopus) was especially delicious as was the Signorine (boar ragu with chestnut pasta). My husband had the Porchetta and while it was good, he had hoped for something different. There was nothing wrong with it, he just didn’t know what to expect. We ate on the covered and heated patio and found it to be comfortable despite the outside chill of January.

I am in love. I had the veal with the mint zucchini. The atmosphere is so intimate. The service was attentive and perfectly executed. The wine had legs and completed the whole experience.and the food…..Oh the food…

After spending 10 months in Italy, I can confirm that this is the most authentic Italian restaurant you can get in Charlotte as a native to the city for the last 5 years. Service, food and experience was incredible ! Cannot recommend the espresso martini enough!! Best I’ve had in Charlotte, hands down. As for my dinner the spaghetti and prosciutto was INCREDIBLE! Worth the wait and can’t wait to go back every month ! Ciao!

Fabulous experience. By far the best Italian food I’ve had in the states. Their beef carpaccio took me back to Florence, Italy! We loved the atmosphere and every aspect of our meal. We dined for Charlotte Restaurant Week and loved trying out some of their specials as well. Their pasta was flawless, perfectly cooked with sauces that held up well. I’m sadly gluten free (celiac) and was thrilled to choose from any pasta, besides one. Most places in Charlotte feature one overcooked pasta substitute, but they provided many gluten free options that were served al dente. My partner got the elk secondi and it was some of the most tender meat we’ve ever had. The drinks were fantastic; dare I say the best old-fashioned in Charlotte? Truly exceptional. Our server was a woman with short hair and glasses- she was simultaneously generous and informative. She made sure I could safely enjoy my meal and timed the food service expertly. Absolutely no notes for this place. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it!

My sister and I ate here for restaurant week. It was amazing. I had the manzo, tajarin, and a lemon meringue tart. She had the panzanella, tortelli, and chocolate tart. We shared a bottle of white wine the waiter recommended and finished the evening with some limoncello. Everything was perfection from the service to the last grain of coarse salt.

I’ve heard wonderful things and needed to try it for myself. Went for restaurant week to graze the menu a little. Bite by bite we were met with wonderful flavors again and again. This may be one of the most wonderful Italian restaurants I have ever visited. Go and try it all.
