Lost count of how many ice cream flavors they have. We got four different cones and a lobster role. The food was all good but did drop a star for being too pricey for this type of roadside stop. The band playing was great and the outdoor atmosphere was comfortable. The service was fast.

Cute roadside restaurant. We had a cheeseburger, fish tacos, apple pie soft serve and Moisetracks cones. The burger was really good and the fish tacos very fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.

Amazing food! And the ladies were very nice! Me and my fiancé were traveling today, and wanted to try somewhere a little different. The fries, onion rings, and shrimp are probably the best I’ve ever had. When the food and the people are good, you know it’s a place you’ll come back to. Thank you! I will highly recommend to others!

I grew up in this area, and haven’t lived here for some time. Back in the day there used to be snack bar / dairy bars like this scattered through the area. They have all since dried up or been bought out by people. This is the first time in decades that I’ve had decent onion rings, the way I’m used to from my earlier life. They were cooked perfectly, the frying oil is pristinely clean. That keeps the onions tasting nice and light. The cheeseburger I had was excellent, probably a premade Patty but still tasty. The difference is it was cooked by somebody who knows what they’re doing. The bun was absolutely perfectly grilled. With a little butter and still crispy on the face. How refreshing it is to be able to get a decent cheeseburger and some real onion rings. The onion rings even come with a nice dipping sauce it has a little twang of horseradish. I highly recommend this place! They even bring the food to your table, and you can sit at the picnic tables and join the shade and a nice breeze. To me it just gets no better

Great, and I mean great food! Everyone was really pleased in our large party. It’s a pretty unassuming atmosphere, but the lady running things here sure knows how to prepare food. There is no indoor seating, so as long as it’s a nice day, you’re all set. You just order at the window and take a seat at one of the picnic tables.

Not much to look at. Just off the side of the road. They do have picnic benches to sit on and a tent for shade. We stopped twice and had dessert both times so I can’t speak for the hot food but the ice cream is yummy and the blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream is some of the best on the island! Take a nice ride out there and check it out!

My partner really loved her lobster roll and I liked my crab roll. Both were good yes, but what was truly spectacular was the blueberry pie with ice cream. Employees were helpful and if you get there early the wait shouldn’t be bad. Parking was available too, as was ample outside seating.

Very nice place to grab a quick bite to eat or one of their many choices of soft serve. The employees were great and the soft serve was even better. Not to mention cornhole boards on site to keep everyone entertained! Highly recommend.

I’ve been here twice, 2021 and 2023, with a wonderful ice cream cone on both occasions, plus a full dinner in 2021. I love the small, local vibes of this type of walk-up quick serve establishment, and the seating area with cornhole and fire pits make you feel like part of the neighborhood while you’re here. This stand is close to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse, and I find it is a great place to stop as the sun is setting after a day in Acadia for a nice meal or snack to finish off the day.

Simple ice-cream shop with complete local food menu. We went for soft-serve ice cream and had vanilla cones with chocolate sprinkles. Ice cream was delicious but border line not frozen enough.
