What a place. A gyro dinner for $12 and its enough food for more than 2 people. As far as I’m concerned one of the few fast food places in Valpo that actually gives you the quality and deliciousness of food that you deserve for the price you pay.

After being away from the region for years, the 1st place I visited in Valpo was Kings! Absolutely the best Italian beef and gyro anywhere! The beef was delicious and moist and covered with red sauce/cheese and peppers! Poetry on a roll. The gyro was plentiful and served with tomatoes and tzatziki; just delicious. The use Olympus gyro comes, so you know it’s good!

So I called the order in to pick up and when I got there it wasn’t ready I had to wait like everyone else. I didn’t care as long as it’s good. It wasn’t even close. I think this was yesterday leftovers, the food was stale and dry. I ate the two Polish and IMMEDIATELY BEGAN VOMITING! They must’ve picked my food up off the floor. It made me physically sick!! I wasted $20(+) dollars! Hey guys don’t worry, I WONT BE BACK, $20(+) lesson learned!!!! Sticking to name brand restaurant now on!!!

My brother in law, whom I was visiting LOVES the beef sandwich. He ate it all. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was awful. The meat looked like a sausage grade product. A long flat piece of I don’t k know what. Grilled onion and pickles. No cheese. Taste was awful!! In the trash.

This place never disappoints. Good food, great prices, nice people. They have been a fixture in Valparaiso for decades and for good reason! Great two Chicago dog specials. My personal go to is the chicken gyro. Creamy, good cole slaw with trying. Plenty of fries in your order if “someone” says they don’t want any . Easy to order ahead and pickup in the drive thru!

Always order a third pita for the gyros plate because you can get three gyros easily from this plate! Also definitely try the cole slaw!
