Beat meal and dining experience our Texas Group has ever had, hands down. Our theme was local Iowa Harvest. Every dish was served with a short description by the Chef on where the food was sourced and how it was prepared. Every bite was so fresh and delicious! We have been spoiled beyond our imagination. Thank you Jessica and all your staff. Yall were awesome!

Just across the border into Iowa lays the city of Osage. Right in the heart, on Main Street is this jewell that you shouldn’t miss. We stopped our first night for dinner. The wait staff did not ask me how I wanted my fillet done, and then served it to me without a knife. I can assure you, the steak was cooked perfectly, the knife was not needed. Along with the creative cuisine, the service was prompt and friendly. We enjoyed our initial visit so much, we returned the following day for lunch. This time the owner/chef/culinary creator came to our table to greet is, and check our satisfaction. As a side (no pun) I included pictures of the desserts for you.

Where to begin. Not sure why it has taken so long to write a review, but this restaurant and Jes are just truly the best. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Taste cater our wedding exactly a year ago. We had some super challenging things with restrictions with food for the wedding and if we didn’t have Jes to help make our dream come to life even with restrictions, I don’t know what we would have done! Jes is the absolute best person to work with and her crew is equally as amazing. They were our favorite vendors to work with and made the process so easy. She was so focused on what we wanted and would do anything to make it happen. She was so kind, dedicated, passionate, and hard working. And to top it all off, her food is OUTSTANDING. Getting married in a smaller town, I was nervous what we would do for food, but Taste is one of a kind. People raved about our food and they were one of our favorite things about our day. And then she made us these trays which were the same food we had at the wedding for our anniversary this year and it was so good! Book them for your event, eat at their restaurant, or do whatever you can to support this place! The absolute best!!

Wonderful restaurant in town. Their large space is great for events & larger groups! Excellent & delicious options for all taste buds and appetites. Always amazing cheesecakes. Best in town by far! Staff is super friendly all of the time! A true Northern Iowa Treasure! Favorite meal by far is the Turkey Brushetta Panini! Their beer list is off the charts! They have progressive dinners, weekly lunch specials, events, live music, catering, & cooking classes! Jess is doing amazing things in Osage!

Taste has some of the best and most creative meals I have ever had! The people there are all amazing and attentive, and always provide excellent service! They have incredible progressive dinners and chefs tables, which makes dining there all the more special. And when they are closed, there is Piggy Back Smoke Shake RIGHT THERE! Not to mention their delicious desserts!! I cannot rave about this local business enough. Thank you Jesse, Unc, and all the people who make dining a memorable and fun experience!
