An excellent dining experience on the patio at the edge of the golf course. What a perfect summer setting! We enjoyed Whitefish with Crispy Garlic, Caesar Salad, Lobster mac-n-cheese, and a dessert of house made cherry sorbet. The service was excellent. Our meal was on the pricey side, but worth it.

We enjoyed the outdoor seating. We were greeted and seated right away (with reservations). Our service was very friendly, courteous, and full of good recommendations. The food was delicious. No complaints. It did get a little noisy as the night went on.

We had a great experience! I read reviews beforehand and decided that, if we were not tended to within ten minutes (seated, menus, and first drinks), then we would leave and find somewhere else. Our waiter was excellent and provided us with all of the above, plus took care of a cross-contamination issue in regard to my gluten intolerance which I hadn’t even taken into account! We had a lovely experience with live music and a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend visiting The Jockey Club if it is at lunchtime and not too busy. GF lobster roll is fantastic!

We went for a late lunch waiting for our reservation at Forge a Memory and were immediately seated outside which had gorgeous views. Servers and staff were very friendly and attentive. We both got sandwiches which were good, the chicken one could have used more seasoning but enjoyable. Little pricey but fun scenic lunch spot

I sat at the bar on a busy Friday and got great service from their staff and had two good salads. Their chopped iceberg and their kale salads were both very good. They have a tent area and outdoor seating as well that overlooks the golf course.

Took 20 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us and it wasn’t even our waiter — he was great and kept taking care of us when our waitress was neligent. I wish we could of tipped him. Instead our waitress first acknowledged us 40 minutes into the meal and didn’t even introduce herself or make any niceities. Took 20 minutes to recieve the check after asking for it. Never were asked if we wanted drinks. Meal took about two hours and we didn’t get apps. Food was cold and not that great. Desserts were good. Really really upset with the experience — felt so neglected.

Tonight was a dinner at the Jockey Club. We were so looking forward to this on our last night on Mackinac. What a disappointment. It was a half hour before we were asked for a drink or for our food order, and that only occurred when we contacted the manager.

We did not have a good experience, we sat on the patio and were never waited on, quite a few servers looked at us, but never spoke to us. My Husband went in to get us a drink and we thought someone would bring us a menu, but by the time we were done, still no service. We left, very odd experience.
