My first time ordering from Kawah and I have to say, the dumplings were delicious! And I’ve been to China Town in Philly, just saying. Also, whenever I’ve ordered shrimp chow mein elsewhere, the shrimp are about the size of a sea monkey (google it if you don’t know what they are lol) but this chow mein had full size shrimp and plenty of them. Very delighted with the food and services. Definitely order the dumplings but ask for extra sauce because it was equally delicious!

This place is a very good place to eat. The establishment has fast service, great customer service, and great deals. They have 3 big fish as well! The establishment also has extra sauce packets and utensils available to take as you please (as long as it isn’t excessive!) The only less-than-admirable thing about my visit was that there was no air conditioning in there and it was about 90°F. The air was hot and humid. I’m not sure if the establishment *has* air conditioning or not, but overall a great place to either buy takeout or eat at. They even have delivery!

We order pretty regularly and this is the best Chinese food around. The food has been consistently wonderful, always hot, and tastes as if cooked and eaten on the spot. Additionally the staff is wonderful, and always willing to go above and beyond for the consumer. The extent of their wonderful customer service isn’t only limited to inside the restaurants, and extends to the delivery drivers as well. The food arrives on time, or earlier, and the driver is always happy and professional. We will continue to order from this fantastic establishment as well as refer anyone looking for a good, yet quick meal.

Poor customer service spoils the dining experience. I’ve been going to Ka Wah for almost 10 years now and the customer service experience has completely changed for the worse lately. This restaurant has an online ordering system available, but be prepared to be berated over the phone for using it when you go to pick up your order. The person who usually runs the counter is not pleasant and does very little to make customers feel welcome.

It a personal favorite! I stop here whenever I’m at the comic book store and looking for a meal. The food is good. They have great portion sizes and reasonable prices, so its great for me for a quick bite and also great for when in ordering for a bunch of friends.

Food is good. They still have a lot of COVID restrictions in place which I think are about 6 months behind the times. So no dine in. And when you pick up you have to actually call them and then they’ll put the food in a bin for you when it’s ready.

If I could give zero stars I would. My food was horrible. My noodles were crunchy and my chicken was like rubber. When I tried to call to inform them of the poor quality of their food I was met with no answer. When I finally got an answer the lady on the other end of the phone was rude and very disrespectful. Was not willing to even listen to my concerns and simply blamed me for their poor quality of food. Horrible horrible food service. They need to reconsider who they have in the front of the store handling their customer service. It’s clearly costing the company business. Zero stars do not recommend. #DontDoIt
