Restaurant with a pub vibe and very friendly and welcoming staff. The pork belly bites are outstanding as is the macaroni and cheese with a smoked gouda. Great drinks and conversation. Fun spot for dinner and drinks !

Some good quality food. Their truffle fries and Mac + cheese are to die for! No matter what we had it was all delicious! Do keep in mind their menu changes.

We were a party of six, who sat at the bar for food and drink. Service was efficient and friendly, dare we say charming. We had a number of appetizers, sides, main dish, as well as some cocktails, and every single thing was terrific. Some unique flavors, generous portions, and the menu was friendly to some special dietary restrictions in our group (vegetarian and vegan, mainly). Everyone found something they liked.

Really yummy food—flatbread delicious and piping hot, salads a generous size and well dressed and seasoned. The kind of place where you want to try everything but can’t get past the first thing you tried because it’s so good! Service always prompt and friendly despite the fact that they are busy. Perfect cocktails. Great atmosphere and people watching.

We were visiting from Toronto to see MASS MOCA and had never heard of North Adams before. I’m vegetarian and was struggling to find interesting options besides veggie burgers, pizza or Subway. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into PUBLIC eat+drink by the hip city atmosphere, stellar and warm service & tasty food options. We did not expect to find this quality in North Adams. Thank you!

This is the first restaurant I have been to that offered de-alcoholized wine. The bartender was adamant the sparkling rose was the one out of the two to get and he was right. It was great! Not sweet. Nice dryness to it. Tasted very similar to regular sparkling rose. The food was ok. I was honestly most excited that a restaurant had a de-alcoholized wine offering and it was good. Most places you go to offering “mocktails” offer overly sweet ones or kid drinks like Shirley Temples. I wish more places offered good de-alcoholized wines. They also had non-alcoholic beer options for folks who like beer.

I should begin by saying I absolutely love this place and look forward to coming here every time I visit North Adams. I had every intension of giving 5 stars and raving about it. Tonight was just SO off!! Has something happened to this place while I’ve been gone?? We were seated in front of the door at the bar and one of the hostesses held the second door open while the first one was still open blasting us with cold air, our favorite meal came (gf Mac n cheese!!!) and there was wax paper on the pancetta I pulled out of my mouth, and finally when I left, all 3 hostesses/runners were at the door and I said “thank you, have a nice night!” And got ignored by all of them… with how much Red Bull they were downing, I would have figured they’d be buzzed enough to be aware but I guess not. Yikes. This is NOT the restaurant I know and love please turn things around, we can’t lose you!
