To start with I was not impressed with the service at all. It was as if I was speaking alien to the waitress or something. Our order was not completely right nor was it done the barbecue sandwiches were barely warm the okra was not fully cooked. When we got to refill on our tea it was warm with no ice in it. When we arrived they barely had any customers in the place and I was not impressed with the service considering that. And to top it all off it was way overpriced for the quality of food. I will assuredly never go there again. It was absolutely disgraceful for Eastern Tennessee barbecue. Truly a disappointment. The sad part is that the adults who own this place leave the children to fix mistakes and deal with unsatisfied customers.

Every part of the meal was delicious. The sweet tea was sweet. The salad bar was fresh and ready. The pulled pork bbq didn’t even need any sauce! Baked beans and potato salad was really good too. Yum! And the server was awesome! There was no wait and the food came out fast!

We were at Little River BBQ for an early dinner and thought that the food was very good and reasonably priced. You can choose the salad bar as one of your side dishes with your dinner and has plenty of options. We sat outside on the porch overlooking the River which was very nice. Service was good and our waitress stopped by plenty of times to check on us.

Went to Little River for dinner and got a pulled pork and pulled chicken dinner which was $38.00. The pulled pork was very greasy and full of fat. I included a picture of greasy fat skin that was half my serving of pork. The mac and cheese was bland flavorless cheese on macaroni. The fries were undercooked and soaked in pork grease that accumulated on the bottom of the to go container. I tried my girlfriends pulled chicken and actually kinda liked it. Although it had a lot of fat she picked out as well. The staff was super nice and attentive. No complaints there. The food was expensive and not worth the price at all. I will not be going back and can not reccomend.

My favorite along the river. Thrilled they are back open post pandemic. Big salad bar, beef brisket and pulled pork are mouth watering, chicken fingers are real white meat and perfectly cooked. Love sitting out back for the river view. Staff are friendly and service has alway been top notch. Pet friendly.

Well, the price was high, the food wasn’t very good, and the waitress didn’t refill our drinks or check on us. She completely forgot about the table behind us, she took their drink order, but never served their drinks because she was too busy with people she knew. I definitely wasn’t impressed. $60 for two adults and two children. Will not be going back!

Visited Townsend July 2022, and stopped at this restaurant after swimming in the river. So glad we did. Food was absolutely phenomenal, service was fast. We’re planning another trip to Townsend August 2024, and we DEFINITELY plan to eat here again.

Got pulled pork sandwich. They use thick garlic bread that is saturated with garlic/oil. Fries were good. The front seating area is a box void of any interest. The river seating is great.
