Much quieter vibe and limited menu compared to Moghul Express in Edison. Food is good, it is light, simple preparation and doesn’t taste like heavy restaurant food. We got the spinach broccoli kebab which was tasty (although it looks like frozen food), and chicken keema dosa was also decent. Raj kachori seems to be the most popular item here although we did not get that.

Got desert that had fungus at two places. When went to return they were never sorry and instead said not sure how because it was fresh. Food service people should know “fresh food” will take quite a long time to see the fungus grown on it that too on the surface. Disgusting.

Have been in and around this place lots of time, but never been to moghul. It was early evening and I wanted to drink a fresh tea and some snacks . Though there are lots of restaurants around , I chose to try moghul. First of all- nicely located right ion NJ 27 and lots of parking . Nice interiors with lots of tables to sit and dine . So we ordered a pick up for butter chicken and also the butter naan . When we open the box trust me, it wasn’t a butter was all tomato curry, also the chicken was not cooked really well . It was so hard to even cut into pieces and The naan was so dry and thick we couldn’t chew it well .

We went to Moghul Express to grab a quick lunch. It’s a great place to have anything from snacks to full course. We had Chicken Tikka and Garlic Naan (Indian Bread). It was really tasty and decently priced as well. The food was not too spicy and would fit everybody’s taste buds.

I ordered chicken kadai for take out. It was very hot and watery as if to make up for the quantity. I had the same chicken kadai before from this place and was delicious. I am very disappointed this time. I wondered what happened? Is this one time incident or a trend?
