A hidden gem, worth the call-in reservation. There’s a reason they highly suggest reservations, it’s a small restaurant that knows how to make great food from scratch. The kitchen is the center of the restaurant and you can see it from any point of the restaurant. If you want to dine last minute, call ahead to see if you can fit in. The foods worth the extra effort.

Lunch at Harvest Thyme – delicious food (I ate half before thinking about taking a picture ) Great service. Oysters as an app followed by tender, juicy steak (onions, mushrooms, and cheese) sandwich with shoe string fries automatically served with malt vinegar and ketchup. Plus, they remembered that I wanted blue cheese on the side (I usually have to ask twice)! Check them out!

Eclectic mix of lunch and dinner choices. My wife and I ate there for lunch. My wife loved her turkey club and I had the best Cuban sandwich I ever tasted. The pork was slow roasted in an incredible au jus and was very tender. There homemade pickles were a nice touch. We tried the harvest smash dessert, an upside down apple pie/cake dish with vanilla ice cream – also incredible. I highly recommend Harvest Thyme.

Great to have a cozy local spot. Our favorite menu items are the fresh pasta special or the butcher’s cut. 4 instead of 5 stars tho, because sadly 75% of the time we get excited about the daily specials posted on the website only to call and hear it’s not up to date.

Nice layout. It was very busy and staff were running around trying to keep up.

Came here with friends that lived in the area for a birthday brunch. We had a great time. Our server, Jadyn, was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations for those that could not decide. The cocktails and food were awesome! The owner even stopped by the table for a chat. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back!

Stopped in for brunch this morning and had a tasty meal. We ordered Shrimp & Grits and Crab Cake Benedict paired with a Spicy Bloody Maria and took a piece of the flourless chocolate cake home. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our bartender Alejandro gave us friendly attentive service. Highly recommend this spot and don’t skimp on the dessert, you’ll regret it!

Harvest Thyme is our go to date night and it never disappoints! Ace is the best chef and the menu that he the owner, Rick, come up with are 4 star Michelin quality! Top quality ingredients and the serving size is good as well. The atmosphere is causal but you can make it upscale if you like because the ever changing specials are up for the challenge. The dessert, made by his wife, Harvest Smash, is full of delicious local apples with a crust and a hint of salt along with optional premium ice cream. Everything is farm to table or locally sourced. Amazing!

We drove almost an hour because we saw this restaurant recommended on an Anne Arundel local food Facebook page. It looked like the food and environment would be upscale but we were very disappointed. Prices were a little outrageous for the quality of food. Kid’s cheese pizza was personally the worst pizza I have ever tried. My mom did like her pear pasta dish but it was $22 for a cup of cooked pasta. When we first sat down my 3 year old was being a 3 year old and wanted a snack so I asked the waitress if she could bring some crackers or anything to tide her over… the bill comes and she charged us $1 for 4 crackers… then also on the bill was $1 charge to blacken the 3 shrimp (already an extra $9) on my salad. None of which was expressed before she handed the bill. We also were charged a soda that none of us got but that was removed. So mainly issues with the staff, but also the food, prices and restaurant quality were a disappointment. We will not be back.
