Well, I have heard about this place very famous been there 100 years. We park right to go across the street for something else anyway to our surprise look there is a famous burger place everyone talks about. Sorry, my burgers taste better. No fries are ok but I please give you something can say it’s special or yes another 100 years but no the meat is thin it will be ok if the flavor will be different but is nothing I can’t tell you I will be back. Place small only cash that’s okay but most people don’t carry cash. The price is good but you get what you’ve paid for burger bread and lettuce because the tomato was gone in one bite. The service was nice. No bathroom don’t bring the big family because if you open your arms to the side you will touch the walls. You are dating and don’t have too much money take it there. you will be close enough that they can not run and if didn’t work you only spend $ 12.00 for both.

The burger was very tasty, but there were no fries. A bag of potato chips doesn’t go well with a good burger. The burger is “kid-meal” size and it’s their defining theme, so maybe two burgers would be more filling for some or 2x or 3x the meat. It’s worthwhile to plan a visit, if you can!

This LITERALLY is a little hole in the wall but man those were some of the best burgers I’ve had in ages!

I remember visiting Rutledge hamburgers when the original owners still owned the restaurant back in the 70s. The place hasn’t changed much. The burgers are what you would expect in a literal hole in the wall, good old-fashioned greasy hamburgers. They are super tasty. My favorite is the double cheeseburger with a jalapeno on the side.

Alright a very unique establishment years old, cool. Small hidden away business in Downtown. I can handle 3 burgers and we’re taking double meat double cheese. Yup made to order fresh , a jalapeño, bag of chips and a cold soda pop. Just the way I like it and have a seat in the back of my car parked in front of the burger joint. Small but great taste, fast and friendly service, fresh ingredients Great burgers all day long.

You’ve heard of a hole in the wall, but have you heard of a hole between the walls!? This historic burger joint was built in 1922 in a tiny alley! Don’t eat here if you claustrophobic lol or maybe just get it to go, but the burgers are quaint. You can easily eat 2 or 3 of their double cheeseburgers. But the good part about it is it’s very affordable! Man that bouble meat double cheese with ham burger was the most pricey and it wasn’t even 4 bucks! Go here at least for the experience and for a good bite

100 yeard old burger joint, you don’t find that everyday. Loved them little burgers, patties were seasoned just right, edges were crispy, buns were firm, loved them. You have to try it when you come down to Brownsville

Been wanting to try it out lady did not get my order correctly since she was taking it from the register while I can’t even pass the door. Flavor was good for its simple menu but I got a double meat and yet it barely covered half the bun. Feel bad for the 2 stars but I was let down. I hope they can get back on track.
