If ya need fresh meats you have your choice of two locations I’m Walsenburg. One is first choice market and the other is here. Nice atmosphere, plenty of seating. Other food vendors inside building as well. Recommend stopping and checking this place out.

Update: Dude’s tomato soup is amazing. The cheddar grilled cheese was good, but it was just the sidekick to this amazingly textured, great tasting soup. I don’t think the pic could possibly do it justice.

I had their gluten free breakfast tacos & ice coffee. Both Delicious. Only thing missing was hot sauce options. I prefer going in early (8-9am). Less busy, good service.

We stopped in for Sundays breakfast. The food was really good. There is much for service, but it’s quick the way they have it set up. The bathrooms are very clean and big.

We were driving through Walsenburg looking for a quick lunch stop on a road trip. This place seemed promising, but we ended up waiting over 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches. There were only three orders in front of ours, and the place was pretty dead. The sandwiches were underwhelming and not worth the wait. I hope it was a one off experience and that service and quality is usually better.

What a gem! Looking for great coffee on our road-trip through Walsenburg on a Sunday was a big ask, especially after 2pm. Luckily RegalBurg was open and made an excellent latte. We also purchased 2 “hand pies” ( strawberry rhubarb and cherry). Both were very good and a perfect afternoon snack. Note that the coffee shop is in a small mercantile building. It looked closed on the outside, but was bustling inside. There was a pizza place, ice cream vendor, and an artisan shop! Worth the stop for sure!!!

DO NOT PASS UP THIS PLACE!!! Omgoodness, the BEST tacos I have ever had, and I am a taco junky! The spices, fresh onions, homemade corn tortillas, just WOW Prices are great, outstanding quality, and SUPER nice staff. Thank you to Nelson for his amazing recipes and we are very excited for the upcoming restaurant and steakhouse at the Mercantile location. What a fantastic place and the best food and goodies. Can’t wait for the cold months to enjoy some hot drinks and homemade goodies as well ❤️

This is a hidden gem in Walsenburg. Entrance is just double white doors on the side of the building at the top of the steps. Deli has great sandwiches and teas. They even have some take and bake meal options. A nice variety and good quality!

Good food, environment, and service. I loved the handmade boutique items. Prices… We bought a medium lemonade and iced tea, both with added flavoring, a phili cheese steak sandwich with a snack bag of cheetos, and Cuban sliders for about $34.

Discovered this cool place with a few food options in a beautiful old building in Walsenberg. We had a club sandwich and bagel and also this cool soda made locally in Denver. Its also a great place to walk around (the mercantile) inside – has crafts from a bunch of local creators.
