I have tried the traditional Cheesesteak and the Buffalo Chicken sandwiches here. Both were very flavourful and authentic. I also had their fries and fry sauce which were very tasty. The portion sizes were very generous, I will definitely be coming back. The owner Leo and everyone else there was very friendly, and added a positive vibe to the restaurant. I’m glad to see this new restaurant as there currently isn’t really anything similar, and 509 Philly Stop adds diversity to the food culture here.

I had my daughter’s & my meals delivered. Arrived quickly by Doordash. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger & a fries, along with Shanghai lumpia to share. The food was ok. The burger was the size of a small McDonalds cheeseburger- ok because I seriously can’t eat a lot. The fries are good & in massive amounts. Which was perfect for my daughter because that’s one of her favorite things to snack on. Can’t go wrong there. I asked for no salt- I cannot have iodine. They made them without salt which is rare anywhere else. The lumpias were just ok- mostly a mess when I tried to eat them. Mostly- they are just a crispy outside & nothing much inside as far as ingredients. Loved the dipping sauce however. I’ll have to go in next time & give it another try. Wish there was more vegan options on the menu for my daughter.

Sandwiches are sublime, had the Italian hoagie which had a generous amount of cold cuts, yet balanced it well with fresh tomato and oregano flavor. The fillipino touches on the menu are a great addition, too. Small and friendly, excellent service, great prices for what you’re getting. Go eat here.

Here is one of those places that you learn about because someone tells you. Yes, it’s that good! My first outing was passing through and I got the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with american cheese, onion and green pepper. I was extremely happy with this and the combination bread roll they used made it a “I will be back for another”. I have since been back for the other and added fries… it was just as good. The atmosphere created is both friendly and comfortable. Is it fancy, ‘no’; but is it friendly and comfortable, ‘Oh Yes’. I talked with the owner and they employ many of the high school kids giving them some real world experience. So if you want that small town good eating place that you’ve only heard about… now is your opportunity!

Was passing through and always wanted to try this place and finally did. My son loved his fries, kept saying how hot and crunchy they were, and liked his burger too. My Philly was big, I couldn’t eat it all, but it was also very under seasoned.
