Hey y’all! This has become a regular place for us to go out and eat please check them out. Their food is amazing and the service is great. Homemade corn tortillas, amazing Aguas frescas (water based juices. Pineapple, melon, guayaba, horchata etc). They cater, have delectable fresh churros, and periodically have tamales!!! It is a very clean and best authentic Mexican food in Texas that I have found so far. It is warm in the restaurant because of the building itself. 106 outside and it was still cool enough for me (heat intolerant person) to sit down and enjoy my meal. I give it 5 stars for sure. I wish I lived closer. I will be back when I am in Athen Texas again.

This felt like being in a border town, and I loved seeing the family running it–including the mischievous little boy; it was like being in their home! Great, fresh street tacos with horchata sweet enough for dessert. I’ll be in every time I’m through town so I can try the rest of the menu. ¡Gracias, caros amigos!
