Decided to try this place out. We were given a complimentary bread basket, sooo tasty! I ordered the chicken fried steak with a loaded sweet potato. Delicious!

Super friendly customer service and welcoming vibe. The food was really good and warm. The presentation was also really nice for the decent prices of each item. The tea drinks are a must order-you won’t regret it. The beef panchos are really good so I’d recommend trying that. There’s also a bar in the corner, good music, and the layout of the restaurant is homey and western-tejano-feel. Overall, our meal was 9/10 because it can always improve and service was exceptional!

First time here. Great Service! Great food! Great atmosphere! You are brought fresh rolls and cornbread with cinnamon butter, and it is to die for. Ordered the chicken fried chicken plate with mashed potatoes and macaroni with cheese. One word. AMAZING! Everything was fresh, and the waitresses were amazing! Wish all restaurants were like this one. We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely amazing. Best customer service at any restaurant I’ve had since moving to Texas. To top it off the food is absolutely delicious

It’s ok, but maybe I had expected more. The queso was bare bones, and salsa was bland. I had the 1 person parrillada because it featured mollejas. Unfortunately, they were toasted a little too much and not too tasty. The rest of the meat was good. I’ll be back to try other options.

We took a drive to Rio grande City from Edinburg to visit immaculate Conception Church. We googled Mexican restaurants near me and scrolled thru several that were closed. I came across this one and I’m glad we picked it. Definitely a gem to visit when you’re in Rio Grande City.

Pass on the enchiladas. They’re just cheese enchiladas topped with crudely cut chicken or pan fried shrimp. I’m guessing the beef is the same way.

So. Much. Food! We stopped in for lunch after doing a search for restaurants. The amount of food was amazing, but the flavors were even better. We love fried pickles and these have amazing flavors and a light coating which made the appetizer a hit. We will be back.
