I tried this one for New York Restaurant week. The menu selection is good. I had grilled squid for appetizer and steak for entree, both are delicious. The service was just okay, maybe they were too busy during restaurant week. They forgot to set our table when we informed them we all arrived, then the waitress did not have time for us and seemed very rush, then the server spilled water on the table and did not even noticed and walked away. The atmosphere and food were good so the overall experience was still good.

A dramatic atmosphere, excellent service and very good food on a Wednesday night. We enjoyed the Restaurant Week offerings, which were a good deal, plus a few extras. The meal was flavorful and well paced. The octopus appetizer was excellent, as were the hangar steak and the salmon entrees. Wines by the glass were satisfactory, and special Napolean dessert was served with honey drizzled on top.

Food is okay but service is horrible. Came here for the bachelorette party of my friend. We did order bunch of appetizers, main courses to share with girls. Our waiter with make that starts with an F ( sorry I forgot his name) was very rude and unfriendly. When he saw our drinks was half full he was already trying to take them away for few time form our table. Yes I know mostly restaurants make mostly money from the drinks, but please let us finish them first.

We had an amazing dinner here. The waitress was super friendly and took a lot of time to explain the menu. The food was fantastic as well!

First time coming here but will definitely be coming back. The ambience is very unique and classy. The waiter is very knowledgable and the food. Let start with the fresh bread and THE BUTTER is to die for . We ordered grilled octopus- it was very tender and was placed overnight in red wine. Oysters is tasty. For the entree, I had black truffle fettucini which was very delicious. The sauce did not over power the fettucini noodle which they also made from scratch. My hubby got 24oz 28 days aged rib eye. Boy, the robust flavors is out of this world. All in all, the experience was amazing!

When we arrived we were seated in the patio area. While it is a beautiful green space, I wanted to sit in the main dining area to fully experience the grandeur of the sweeping deep blue and champagne colored curtains on dark walls, and most importantly, the lofty cathedral ceilings for which the restaurant is named. It took a little doing on their part, but they were able to accommodate my request and moved us to the main dining area. And yes, it was worth it. The sculpture suspended from the majestic, high ceiling is architecturally complex with various geometric shapes. The empty chasms between structures create as much visual interest as the sculpted contours themselves. As my date said, “it’s a vibe.” We were off to a good start.

Our goal was to make it here for a late dinner – and late we did make it – almost before the kitchen closed on a Sunday night, but they were gracious enough to seat us and feed us. The steak tartar was great – glad we didn’t skip it and go straight to dessert. But the desserts were phenomenal! The Sorrento Lemon is as tasty as it is stunning to look at. And the President Cake shouldn’t be missed either – very rich, very decadent.
