We went for a Friday Fish fry and we’re disappointed. Their buttermilk breading was overpowering since it is too much batter for the fish. The haddock was overcooked so the fish was a dark brown. The sides were uninspiring.

We visited on a Friday. For $13 we had their fish fry that included 4 large pieces of fish (your choice of fried, grilled, or cajun grilled). It came with red-skinned potato salad, coleslaw, and rolls. It was delicious! Friendly and welcoming service. Great food!

It’s a quiet place. Had never been there before. Mom enjoyed the broiled fish. My tortellini was swimming in way too much oil and could’ve used more seasoning. Mom said the red potato salad needed more seasoning, too. Our server seemed distracted, but was friendly.

We celebrated a special 85th birthday with 15 people….waitress was so helpful and pleasant. Food was delicious, and with a nice selection of items on their menu. An overall wonderful time.

I’ve been going to the White Village for over 20 years. In that time it’s been remodeled and changed ownership. The current menu is improved, though would like to see the Beef on Cheddar and Tuna Melt return. Service has been good this trip. It’s part of the Van Buren Point experience.
