Good burger, fresh bun, ripe tomato, fresh lettuce. The Portobello fried mushrooms were unique. Very crunchy coating, delicious but slightly oily. The mushrooms also came with ranch.

The 5 & 50 always serves a great meal! Those little roadside stand has been cooking food for locals and lake goers alike for decades. Portions are generous, service is great and overall is a nice dining experience. Orders are taken via two walk up windows or through their recently launched app. There are two picnic tables with cover for dining, but most people either dine in their cars or take their food to go. If you are looking for a bit of nostalgia, they sell a foot long hot dog.

We had a cheeseburger, fries, a foot long hot dog and a sundae. All of the food was delicious, especially the burger. The burger was perfectly cooked, thick, and juicy. The fries were your ideal diner style fries, not greasy and nice and crispy. The ice cream was a generous portion for the money and it was quite tasty.

I would like to know how long this business has been there because I’m 64 year’s old and as a child growing up my father would stop in there and get us 4 kid’s an ice cream cone each weekend on our way from Columbia, MO to our cabin down at the Lake of the Ozarks. So, I was so happy to see that it was still in business when my husband and I stopped by on our way to my father’s grave site today in Akinsville, MO, just up the road a ways.

What a great little stop! Fairly basic menu, couple flavors of shakes and or malts was nice.

Old time 60’s style drive up diner. Ice cream, sundaes, sodas, food. All the prices were complete with tax included so you knew what you were paying.

I have driven right past this place at least a dozen times, but never realized it existed. I discovered it online trying to find a great place for lunch in Tipton. When I arrived, there were five or six vehicles parked in front, and that number didn’t change while I waited for my food. I feel like I paid a little much for the amount of onion rings I received (but they were topnotch!). The cheeseburger was great. Not the smashed, dry patty like most fast food places. I will probably stop here every time I find myself in Tipton, even if I’m not hungry!

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and I’m disappointed to say that the quality has went downhill! The prices have increased and the quality and quantity of food has decreased. This visit, there was hair in the food and we paid for extras and didn’t receive them. I now live an hour away and still visited frequently until today. Im sad to say I will no longer return after all these years.

Great burgers and the kids loved the corn dogs. If it had been a nicer temp outside we would have gotten ice cream too.
