We had a great night out. The mother is so friendly, we felt like we were amongst family. The service was amazing. I was craving a gyro and this place took care of that need. I also tried the galaktoboureko, which is a lot easier to eat than pronounce. But it was fun trying to get it right. My husband wanted to go back the next day but we ran out of time on our visit. Will certainly be back again when in the area.

THIS is good food! The people are so sweet, very patient if you have any questions or concerns, and the food is phenomenal! From baklava and shwarma, to gyros and lemonade- refuel and refresh here. I’m not a huge fan of Greek food around Memphis, but Happy Greek is consistently delicious. The mint lemonade is made fresh (like everything else!) and is my absolute fav- even in the winter. Wednesday 08/23, me and a buddy traveled for over 40 mins to get to this place, and they were closed at 11:30 am. Their schedule shows that they open at 11:00 am. Just put a sign, or change on google maps your correct working hours. Don’t make people waste their time.

This was my first time having Happy Greek and I will definitely be back! I chose to try them based off their reviews; they didn’t disappoint! I got a falafel gyro with fries and a falafel appetizer with tahini sauce (cause I love falafel ). I’m a bit of a picky eater so there were some things I didn’t want on my gyro; they had no problem accommodating me. Customer service was great! I walked in and ordered takeout; it did take about 20 minutes or so to get my food, but that wasn’t a problem, I knew it was fresh! The place is small, but there are tables if you want to dine in. Now about the food! Everything was delicious! My gyro was made perfect! I enjoyed the little kick of spice the falafel had. Fries were nice and seasoned. The harissa sauce and tahini sauce were both good.

We had the best falafels ever here! Adding a little feisty feta dip made them over the top. And the hummus bowl and salad were also really great. We have Greek food all over the US and this place is one of our (new to us) favorites!

Awesome Greek food. Probably the best Greek food we’ve had so far in Memphis. Tried the Dolmades, Spanakopita, Falafel, chicken and lamb gyros. All the food was excellent, meat tender, taste was perfect. Highly recommend you try the food here, especially if you enjoy Meditteranean food.
