This location is fairly new. I stopped in today for lunch. It’s very clean inside and the decor is bright red and black. Hinting that there’s gonna be some kick to the food. Before going in, I did a little research on the spot. It was created by the 2 men who started Sweet Frog. I ordered a number 1 combo. Chicken sandwich and waffle fries. Then, I also ordered a small order of the chicken bites. There are 6 levels of heat. For the sandwich, I did medium. For the bites, I did spicy. After spicy was hot, then Hangry. The food was brought to my table in about 10 min. It was cooked fresh. The sandwich was enormous. The bites were a very large order for being small. Came with their signature Hangry Suace and a side of Maple Syrup. The sandwich had only chicken. Slaw and large cut pickle weres ver, very good. The fries didn’t appear to be salted but were seasoned in a lite mix. Dipped in the Hangry Suace was great. Dippe the Syup tasted like homemade waffles in the morning. As for the bites. Wel, they were fantastic. I drizzled the syrup all over and dipped in the Hangry Suace. It’s definitely a great spot.

I am not even a big fried chicken person and yet this place was tasty! I will say the spice levels are on point. As someone who loves spicy meals, be red for kick if you order the hot . I think the medium is the best spice level for enjoyment. Waffle Fries are also delish! We didn’t dine in, we got it to go but the place seems clean and newer. I also couldn’t believe they had boba tea! Yes .

Best hot chicken other than in Nashville. So much chicken that it hangs off of the bun. The chicken and fries were so crispy and not greasy at all, and the chicken had so much flavor. Sauce was amazing as well. Definitely will eat here again!

Oh man, Hangry Joe’s is one of my favorite spots. By far, this place has one of the top CHICKEN SANDWICH in the area and beyond. Chick Fil A and Popeye’s fell way behind. Sorry guys, but it’s the truth. There is no comparison. Great customer service and very helpful answering questions. Good for the whole family. Price is moderate. I strongly suggest.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m writing this review a little late but this was my last time buying anything from them. I’m going to post my order. My chicken burger was so dry and the meat of the chicken was unchewable. It felt like it was old or was cooked several days before. I had to swallow it to eat it. I ordered hot and it was so bland. No flavor, complete 0. I wanted to take it back and get a refund but I was tired to do all that. This was a take out order. My experience has never been so bad with them. If you are going to eat here, just dine in because you might waste your money otherwise….. updating this review with a full receipt because the response to this basically called me a liar.

First time trying out Hangry Joe’s. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It appears to be made fresh to order. Food came out about 10 minutes or so after I ordered it, hot and fresh. Got the Chicken Sando combo with fries. Everything was delicious. My only “complaint” would be that the bun was nothing special. And that’s such a minor gripe I won’t take off a star. And the sandwich was huge, much larger than I was expecting. I was very full after eating it all. Will definitely come back here again!

This place does not skimp on the portions. The chicken sandwich is huge and the tenders look like 2 whole chicken breast cut into 4 pieces. The waffle fries are crispy and the sauce and seasoning is excellent. Be careful with the hot sauce because it will burn you up. They even have the ability to order from a kiosk instead of waiting in line. I will definitely be back to try the wings and I would absolutely recommend this to everyone especially chicken lovers!!

First time visiting and the young lady was very helpful and explained the different heat levels. The bravest I dared was Medium heat and that was plentiful. Any hotter is a “double dare ya”! Ordered the wings, waffle fries, and coleslaw (recommend if you are a coleslaw fan). Kept everything under $20 ($18), it is a bit pricier than going to other fast food chicken joints but the chicken is on a different level (if the price was a bit more reasonable, it would have gotten 5-stars). I believe they cook to order, so be patient if your order takes longer than 15 minutes. On the Bear comeback-scale, I give it “no more than once a month”, only due to the cost of the meal. This a fast food chicken restaurant that has different levels of spice. The combo will run you about $12, but the pieces of chicken were robust! I was impressed with the sizes but the flavor was just ok. Mild had some kick, so be careful. Also, it takes a while for them to cook the food, so you mat want to order ahead. The drink selection was mid. The waffle fries was good and seasoned, but you’ll get Chick-Fil-A sized portions. And if you like okra, they got it. It’s a good place to go if you want to try something different in the chicken world.
