If you are looking for the best California style burrito in Chicago, look no further. This place serves authentic California-style burritos that are fresh, flavorful, and filling. The tortillas are soft and warm, the rice and beans are cooked to perfection, and the meat and cheese are generous and delicious. You can choose from a variety of options, such as chicken, steak, carnitas, veggie, or fish, and customize your burrito with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and more. The portions are huge, so you will definitely get your money’s worth.

After searching for a perfect burrito place in the Chicago area, I found this place on Google. I was looking for something similar to the amazing burritos I had during my California road trip.

This is it! Have been looking for a decent al pastor on the east side of the city and I’ve finally found it (after way too many okay tacos). They’re generously portioned, and flavorful. Also the staff are great and honored my special request (onion/cilantro instead of LT/cheese/sour cream)

I grew up in San Diego, and left in 2020. Since that time, I have not found a place that has an actually solid California Burrito. Happy to say that has now changed, the Cali-B here was pretty damn good, I will definitely be back

This is a little hole in the wall, local Mexican place that was recommended to use by the hotel staff. We got burritos, and they were grilled like a grilled cheese, so the outer tortilla was crispy. It was rather good. Just wish they had chips or something to go with them. The seating is a bit cramped, it is a small joint.

I walked past this place a few times over the last few weeks and told myself I’d try it asap. There’s something about spots like this that scream “try me bc I’m def better than most of the other restaurants around me”. I’m glad I tried it because the food was very rich in flavor, and price was amazing for what you get. Meat was tender and lots of great options to choose from on the menu.

It’s ok. Don’t think I’ll be coming back. The burrito is alright, but definitely nottttt that good for the price ($9 for a small???).

Great food and good price compared to the other Mexican spots in Lincoln Park. I really like the tongue burrito and veggie quesadilla. The food gets ready fast too and the staff is nice.
