I’ve tried numerous times to support this business, but their customer service is horrible every time. If it’s not the woman being rude, it’s the man. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, I live and work in the area… so I always try to call in my order and they don’t make the order until you arrive; however, my break is only 45 mins… it takes them over an hour to cook a 7 wing dinner. I will no longer be supporting this business at this location. The one on like 99th halsted is way better and customer service is immaculate. I used to stay in that area as well and never had any complaints.

I called the place an order so I can be ready by the time I got there. She was taking my order and then she got all confused and then hung up on me. I called back several times and they didn’t answer and then they finally took it off the hook. I just asked if they had a rib and tip combo. I would have ordered a full slab and rib tips separately if she would have told me no

Knowing something about barbecue I’m GLAD that there is a little bit of a wait time for the food, because if there was just copious amounts of barbecue always available that you can instantly order, that would mean that the food is being cooked way too fast.

One of the best barbecue joints on the south side, been a faithful customer for years. Their sauce is sweet & savory and the tips/wings/slabs are tender. Worth the wait, quality food for a convenient cost. Recommend ordering online an hour in advance to avoid longer waits. I believe they decided to stop accepting call in’s after customers consistently placed orders without prepaying and/or picking up. Customers seem to expect McDonald’s expediency for smoked/grilled and freshly fried food. This is the spot to go if you’re looking for the way we barbecue.

On one of my visits at this location I returned for my food an hour later when my food was done and a talk chic tried to fight me because she jumped ahead of me while standing and waiting to get my food I told her I was next she went off that didn’t scare me at all then she told me to watch my mouth I repeated to her that I was next so this treat yelled out the door for sum assistance with me . Girl bye who ever you calling in here you better bring the Army.

The worst they have ever been. I am just flabbergasted of the terrible customer service. I ordered two rib and link combos on a Saturday like always and they gave me something different. (check your food before you leave) the tips were very tough as if they were cooked and reheated, or cooked to fast. When I called to ask to speak to management the young lady said she was the manger. When I explain about receiving the wrong order she made it out to be my fault. When I explained the toughness if the food she had yet another excuse. After going back and forward I was told to bring the food back. I explained to them that I don’t love close and I couldn’t come back right now. Well long story short i got a apology and oh well. Lost my money. It is ashame because I use to get great customer service and food when it was I57 but not it is called Chicago pit stop it is the worst. I’m not why but I will not bother the give my business there anymore. I here the one that is still called I57 is the one and is not affiliated with Chicago pit stop.
