This would have been five stars, but the employees were more interested in chatting with each other than with the customers and the breakfast burrito was bland with no bacon and hard potatoes. It was still worth the detour because the coffee was excellent and my coffee cake was delicious!

My fiance and I was on a road trip from TN to CA and in need of some coffee! Carlson Coffee Company happened to be the only coffee shop for the next 3 hours in NM and BOY OH BOY, we are SO glad we stopped by!! Their coffee was amazing and delicious, perfectly made. We also tried out their cheese and almond rolls, it was Y U M M Y! We highly recommend for anyone driving by to stop by and support them. The owner is so kind hearted and helpful! This is a small shop that deserves all our support. 🙂

Our experience with Carlson Coffee has been wonderful every time we have frequented this establishment! We’ve called ahead to pick up when we are in a hurry or sat and enjoyed the ambiance. The staff is always friendly, coffee is hot and burritos spot on every time! Love the fresh tortillas they use!!

Most places do not open until 7AM and unfortunately, I begin work at that time… so, I was thrilled to discover a place that I can get my fave drink by 6:45AM with a delicious baked treat! Win-win and great way to start the day! Staff were very friendly and well-trained in customer service which was a pleasant surprise nowadays with teen workers. Courteous, polite, and diligent workers!

I got a latte with an extra shot, oh my gosh, so good. Coffee wasn’t bitter, great flavor. I also got the cream cheese croissant, and I don’t think I’ve had a better one, ever. Highly recommend. Very kind service too.
