I’ve been going to this location since the first day it opened. I’m gonna say I’ve been there a little under 20 times already. I’ve dined in and I’ve done carry out orders. I’ve eaten here all times of the day. Never had a bad experience yet. Food has always been hot and fresh and tastes amazing. Yes it’s priced a bit higher, but it’s good quality. Don’t waste your time going to the other nasty Mexican restaurants in pekin. Don’t believe all the negative reviews about La Fiesta , just remember this world is full of a bunch of complaining Karen’s now a days .

Stopped in for lunch in their Grand Opening. Place looks great and their service exceeds other Mexican restaurants. We ordered street tacos and chips with salsa. The food was excellent!! Seems like a great location, we will be back.

This is our first time at La Fiesta located in Pekin, Illinois and we really enjoyed our experience! My goal was to come in here and give a five-star review (despite the negative reviews that are posted) I’m very pleased to be able to come in here and do that today. The steak fajitas were fantastic, the meat was seasoned to perfection and the shredded beef that was in my husband’s chimichangas was the best out of all the Mexican restaurants in the surrounding cities. We also enjoyed the salsa and the cheese dip, it’s got a little bit more of a hint of Jalapeno in it, so it had a nice kick.

We were so excited to not have to drive to Morton but… they need practice still! My boyfriends margarita was weak. It took quite a while to get our food. I received the dinner chimichangas asked for no red sauce but it was on there. I will say the shredded chicken was very well seasoned and it was good. My boyfriend ordered no red sauce and also got it on his. Our waiter was very friendly and he did put the order in right they just didn’t do it right. That’s why I say they need practice. It wasn’t the worst experience but we’ll wait a while to go back. All around it wasn’t a bad experience they just need to settle in.

08-19-23 The food is fresh. It’s pretty good too. They got our order wrong but fixed it right away. Half of the Enchiladas were cold, which doesn’t really bother me if they are good, and, they were.

Food was good, portions were very small for dinner. The atmosphere was not inviting, as someone else said it felt like a cafeteria. Service was the worst thing about the visit. Waiter was barely around which was odd since you could see almost everywhere in the place. May try again in the future but definitely not a place to frequent.
