I really wanted to love this place, but I just can’t. The service ruined the entire experience. For a $650 bill for the table, I would have expected better. Right from the beginning, we had waited about 25 minutes before having to have the assistant flag our waitress down. We had to constantly ask for water refills and reordering of beverages and additional small plates. Our waitress was never to be found when needed (and we were not a needy table of 5). She had an attitude when we asked her what something was, she replied with an attitude that “if you just wait I will explain it to you”. Towards the end of the meal, we sat with a plate full of dirty dishes for more than 25 minutes. We were never offered dessert or to even look at the dessert menu. We had to flag our waitress down for the bill. I wish the service was better, we would have definitely spent more money. On the plus side, I did enjoy the London Build your own Gin & Tonic cart.

What a fantastic experience! I am gluten intolerant, and have to be cautious when dining out. Indienne is able to accommodate a gluten-free tasting menu as long as they have at least 48 hours notice (per their website). I emailed them about a week before our reservation and had no trouble at all.

Had a phenomenal experience at Indienne for a birthday event. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The dishes were exquisite and presentation was great. The service at the restaurant was very good too. The dishes were very imaginative and packed with flavor. The wines paired beautifully with the dishes. Highly recommended for an awesome meal out or special occasion

French Indian fusion tasting menu in the old Graham Elliott restaurant space with hip music and tasty cocktails. Went early on in opening with $80 tasting menu which was great deal for the quality of food and service we had. Very unique Indian dishes with a flair & upscale twist.

We did the tasting menu, I was blown away by the first three courses pictured. The main courses, lamb/steak, were okay. Was still going to give 5 stars but my stomach was churning for the next 24 hours after eating here. The service and atmosphere were phenomenal

Phenomenal experience at Indienne – really one of the best dinners out in Chicago in recent years. The atmosphere is really great – the restaurant is fairly spacious and isn’t crammed full of tables, which, in combination with the beautiful decor and pastel colors gives it a very serene vibe.

Was thrilled to find out Indienne actually has a vegan tasting menu as long as you email in advance!! I’ve never been to such a fine dining experience but I was just blown away by not only how great everything tasted but how nostalgic the flavors were for me! Every course was so thoughtfully made and more delicious than the last. My favorite was definitely the coconut payasam as it was so comforting yet elevated. A perfect place to enjoy a nice long meal to celebrate any occasion!

Came here for a birthday dinner and had an amazing experience! The food was so flavorful and the service was impeccable. Ambiance was a lot different than I expected, very busy and loud for a Wednesday night but I think it added to the experience. The add on king prawn course was worth the additional price. Definitely hope to return here soon!

One of the best restaurants in Chicago for sure. They perfectly combine India culture and French techniques. Every dish is an art work meanwhile it delivers unique, flavorful taste. My favorite are their first three courses, their the sweetness, spice and texture were on point. It was an amazing experience!
