Party of three, our food came out quickly. It was hot and delicious. Our waitress Natalia displayed excellent customer service and the other staff didn’t hesitate to assist when we had a question.

Only in town for one night and were happy to find a Mexican restaurant right next to our hotel. Google reviews showed 4 stars so we were pumped! Got there and the decor was very nice! We grabbed a table and settled in for (hopefully) a great meal! Unfortunately, our experience was anything but. If you follow my reviews, you know I’m a huge Mexican food and tequila fan, so I have a lot of experience with both. Furthermore, as luck would have it, I was on a “guys-only” trip and one of the guys was my Son-in-law who just happens to be Mexican! Anyway, our server really killed the night for us. She had to be new because she was so bad I can only assume she had zero experience. We waited forever for our drinks, which she screwed up. We waited forever for our meals, which she screwed up. As far as the actual food and drink quality, I would say forego the basic house margaritas and go for the premium ones for $1 more. Well worth the dollar. The food is very basic and I was very surprised that two out of three of our entrees didn’t come with beans and rice. Bottom line, I’d recommend the place if it weren’t for the terrible service.

Fabulous decor can’t make up for the food or service. Don’t order the Diet Pepsi, it comes flat, and that’s the norm. The guy in charge that night said, “yeah, I forgot to tell the new server to add club soda to it.” So then he brought me a semi-sparkling not exactly diet soda. Aside from the frustrated banter back and forth between he and the new waiter, the food was lackluster as you can see in the photos.

Undercover reviewer here. The service here was great. The decorations were also very good. Felt authentic. Then the food came. Hardddd yikes. The queso was sweet, the tea was bland, the chicken was bland and not hot (barely warm), and the rice and other items I. The dish weren’t near anything to write home about. Won’t return unless I hear the food has gotten significantly better.

The decor here is fantastic, lives up to the name. Service was OK (I sat for almost ten minutes before I even got a menu, and this was close to 1pm when the lunch crowd had thinned out). Food was OK. Salsa was great, but the burrito was bland. Also, I am not a fan of any restaurant that adds automatic gratuity (parties of one or more in this case) to my check.

They added an automatic 15% tip. I’ve never seen that done on a party of 1, eating that the bar. I hadn’t noticed and tipped again (25%) based on the total. They also added a 3% surcharge for the CC payment.

So, the service was good, nice waiter. However, there were two of us and I didn’t expect to have an automatic gratuity added for 2 people. As I added 20% tip to the total; only to discover later 15% was already added. I get it, my fault for not looking at the check line by line while at the restaurant; but again for 2 people an automatic tip added, not cool. I won’t go back for this reason.

This place was super cool. Loved the ambiance and all there decorations. Margaritas were amazing and there chicken tortilla soup was the best I’ve ever had. So much flavor packed in one bite. Chips and salsa were great as well. If you get a chance please check this place out!
