Easily located right outside gate 5 at Fort Polk- they hands down have the best food ever! Their fish, shrimp and burger baskets are huge. Large dining area with two TV’s. The bathrooms could be scrubbed from top to bottom- but they aren’t dirty. Just lime and hard water stains from being in Louisiana. Huge menu to choose from! Local and military favorite go to place for a great meal and company!

Who Is Lala
Where do I start,I was on my lunch break and my husband and I waited 30 minutes for our order. Once we Received our Food I was in total shock. My fish was so gummy to the point I was unable to chew it. My Fries was overcooked and hard I have pictures to prove it. I took my order back inside , they informed me that they do not do refunds at all so I have no other choice but to get my food re-cooked. So instead of me getting fish I end up getting a burger my burger was nasty and smelled old and smell like it had some type of cleaning products on it so at this point I am upset I will not Eat there again in my life just a waste of money – no I didn’t eat any of the food it went straight to the garbage.

Me and a buddy decided to finally stop in to this place for lunch. Bad idea. Got there around 12:30 so the lunch “rush” was definitely over. After waiting a few minutes for someone to show themselves at the counter, the hostess took our drink orders and told us to seat ourselves. Good thing we weren’t dying of thirst, because that was the only drink we got. Waitress came out to take our order and disappeared into the back again. About 5 minutes later we got our burgers (she didn’t even set mine on the table, it took me a few seconds to realize she was holding it out for me to take from her), which were swimming in and oozing grease. The poor bottom of the bun never stood a chance. The next time we saw our waitress, she came out of the back on her cell phone “Yeah I’m walking to the door now” and then we saw her get in a vehicle and leave. At least we didn’t have to leave you a tip!! The bathroom wasn’t in the best shape either. I don’t recommend going unless you like this kind of grease-hop establishment.

So they may be out of stuff quite often and we did wait like 45 min today, but I’m in no hurry and I like it there. Pancake Sandy or bust. Kinda feel like they use cake batter so other than the diabetes I’m gonna not care and like it. If you go at the off times, you dont have to crowd yourself for early breakfast and lunch rush. Usually just us 2 so it works. Give Jacob a quarter at the counter and if you are the person that gave him a penny, enjoy hell.

What happened to this place? Spent 15 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. If you dont want to serve customers, don’t have a restuarant. No one wants to be late to work because you’d rather talk to your friends in the back instead of taking orders. Act like you’re in a customer service business. Get your act together. Stop talking and do your job.

Food was horrible and tasted like they be ver changed their grease also my fish was very gummy.. I asked for a refund and they said they only can recook it after that they burned my fries and still gave me a nasty order I am very disappointed and wish someone will do some about this.
