I really like this place. Their food is good and reasonably priced, the staff is nice, and their food portions are huge. You have the option to order a lunch size of the pasta dishes, and the lunch size is still very generously portioned and less money too. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and has an old fashioned feel. The building has a history. If you go be sure to ask your server about it.

It a great meal. We had a party of 13 and it took a little time to get orders going but it was a busy night. Our waitress was serving a number of table so we did not have her full attention. The food was superb, wonderful portions and most had a second meal to take home. Even a group of young men had come in rather that doing burger and fries. Highly recommended.

Ordered pizza from here twice now, and both times have been superb. The first time, they burned it and I had to wait an additional 10 or so minutes for the proper version. Worth it. Absolutely worth every penny, and the fact that they refused to give me the ‘whiffed’ pizza shows a lot of integrity. Get the Spicy Italian or the BBQ Chicken.

I’ve eaten at Cafe Allegro regularly for about 20 yrs. Great appetizers, good service, very large dinner portions. Food was a little lacking for a while about 3 yrs ago but excellent again the last few times I’ve been there up to a few months ago. May go there for dinner again tonight, much better than nearly Olive Garden in Lake Oswego.

Usually good food (especially the risotto), although it all kinda looks the same (at least the pasta sautes do). Service is hit or miss especially if calling in an order. Disappointed that you didn’t accept the Groupon because it was Valentines Day. I understand that you have the right to say no because it says so in the fine print, but if you are gonna do that, put blackout dates on the coupon itself. If I would have known, I wouldn’t have ordered it then. Way to take advantage of the holiday.

Pretty disappointed. I had been here a couple times before and actually liked the food, but this time it was not good. First of all, if I owned an Italian restaurant I would be sure to cook the pasta perfectly. My ravioli was way undercooked and the sauce tasted worse then store bought sauce. It took 20 minutes to get our salads. My husband got the chicken parm with risotto and that was actually pretty good. Probably won’t be back though.

Was really looking forward to a good Italian meal here but was let down. They seemed to be understaffed because we had to wait 15 minutes for a table that was open. I have to say my food was fantastic (scallop and ceviche pasta). However, my husbands chicken parmesan did not taste right. It was really chewy and my kid’s pizza dough was raw. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and it was already past 8:00 so we just got the kids food elsewhere and my husband I shared my pasta. They comped his pasta and we are never the type of people to complain or send the food back but we were tired and the kids were hungry so we just left.
