The Vocelli Story begins in a mining town in Zonguldak, Turkey where Varol Ablak was born. Vocelli Pizza then flourished to Essen, Germany and then on to Lynn Lake, Canada followed by West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and eventually settling in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Vocelli is an excellent place to order food for the whole family. Our food is truly healthy and delicious. We offer right from appetizers to subs to Pasta! Ordered a pizza on Door Dash. Immediately after I placed the order, I realized I forgot to add pepperoni. Called the store, asked to add pepperoni & pay for it over the phone. Was told I needed to contact Door Dash to do that, which made no sense. Door Dash said to call the store. I’m not sure why they couldn’t just add the pepperoni to my order, I wasn’t asking for it for free. So I got a pizza I don’t want & also they got the drink order wrong.

Vocellis is my usual it’s chain in the NoVa area. Especially for a late night pie. The gentleman who runs the shop in the evenings does a heck of a job making pizza. The order status is accurate and it’s always delicious and fresh. I did get shorted some cannolis once. Partially my fault for not checking my receipt getting excited to chow down on a tasty za. I always order take out vs delivery so I can’t speak to quality of that. Vocellis is one of very few spots in NoVA who does thin crust right. I would be very interested in their take of St. Louis style pizza if they ever gave it a shot.
