The cashier was very short and had a very negative attitude. The wait was unusually long and the food was HORRIBLE! Fries were cold, barely sauces and undercooked, chicken was old (at least it tasted like it) and not cooked well! Truly disappointed!

This has always been my go to neighborhood spot for good, fresh food. So I placed a catering order for a party. Arranged a day and time for pick up. I get there and wouldn’t you know it, IT’S NOT READY. I had to wait over 30 minutes. So if you are placing a catering order, set up a reminder to call and remind them that you are coming to get your food!!!

Placed an order via Ubereats. Our driver got to the store. Picked up our order and promptly canceled our order and stole it. We placed a second order and the store called to tell us they refused to make the order again. Claiming they wouldn’t get paid. Even though I’m sure uber pays them if the driver cancels after picking up the food. Since it’s out of the restaurants hands. The person who called had an attitude like I was the one who stole from them.

If you LOVE Harold’s Chicken, but DON’T love how hard they fry chicken you’ll love Chicago’s Chicken Coop chicken This isn’t a “sit there and eat” spot. They cook to your order, so call ahead and pickup if you don’t want to sit and wait. The chicken was nicely seasoned, and juicy… DELICIOUS!!!! DEFINITELY give them a try.
