Even with the hot weather outside, lunch at Yia Yia’s House of Gyros was EVERYTHING! The service was exceptional, the staff was so friendly and provided great service. The food was PERFECTION!! Everything that was served tasted so fresh and authentic, the pita bread had such a crunch, and the sauce was the perfect topping to every bite. The roasted pepper hummus, along with the cucumbers and pita bread was the best appetizer choice. The Gyro & Gyro plate had such wonderful flavors, I just preferred to have everything separate instead of wrapped. There was so much food on the plate, I even had a full container to take home. And to end our meal with the Loukoumades for dessert, was the cherry on top of an already great meal. The cinnamon honey topping gave those crispy donuts a light and flavorful taste. This location in Rockwall was better that my first attempt in Mesquite, I will definitely be returning back to Rockwall in the future.

Really yummy with great service. We stumbled upon this place a few months ago running errands in Rockwall and today, when we found ourselves in Rockwall again we sought this place out. The gyro sandwich is the way to go. We also tried the greek hamburger and hummus and although good, the sandwich will bring us back. Oh and the little honey puffs were a sweet touch in the end.

Visited for the first time today-got the gyro sandwich. It comes with fries for a very reasonable price of $11. Only drawbacks are a side of tzatziki is a bit pricey at $4, and bottled sodas are $2. There is not a fountain soda so bottles sodas/water are the only options(or bring your own). It was a tad hot inside but it’s also 100 degrees outside so the A/C can only do so much. I’ll definitely be back to try more items!

There are very few places that truly deserve a 5-star rating and this is one of them. First off, the food is so authentic in flavor and made fresh. Also, it is a very good portion in my opinion. Not too much and not too little. I highly recommend the dolmas with the pita bread! They are made warm and the pita bread slightly toasted to perfection! Secondly, the staff is amazing! The cashier, host, and cooks included. The people in there are so down to earth and kind. They offer suggestions, make conversation, and even joke around a little! Lastly, in my opinion, it’s pretty well-priced for authentic Greek food.

I was craving a good Greek sandwich and went there for the first time and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Absolutely excellent, I had the original gyro with fries and it was so delicious. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted and seasoned, the meat was full of flavor and juicy, the bread was so soft and good quality that it tasted homemade. The service was also really fast and good. I really recommend!

My mom and I decided to come here for dinner for the first time tonight and it was seriously one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while! The food was spectacular- So authentic, delicious, and everything on the menu looked good! Additionally, our waitress, Zulie, did an incredible job. She was kind, friendly, and even was generous enough to let us try a few bites of the homemade dessert she made that morning, which I will DEFINITELY be ordering next time I come here! Thanks Zulie!! There are also quirky little sayings/phrases that are written on the walls that made my mom and I smile. Overall a solid 10/10 and would recommend everyone to stop by at least once!

Wow! Probably the best dolmas (warm!) and gyro platter I’ve ever had! And I’ve had a lot of both of these. The freshness, the flavor, the service, excellent! My only regret is living so far away

Always busy and always good food. The food portions are generous. The drinks are bottle only. There is patio seating. If you want extra tzatiki it is a bit extra.

Great place to come. I’ve never tried greek food until I came to this place, and it was great and fairly priced. The staff was great too. They were very friendly and constantly checking in to see if everything’s going well. I will definitely come back and recommend others to come. The meatball soup is really good by the way, you should try it!
