Conveniently located on the southside, iThaiz is near the intersection of Courthouse & Lucks Lane, Midlothian. The restaurant is quaint w several tables tucked away in the back. Carryout appears brisk. For a Thai neophyte, the menu with tons of selections & descriptions, categories, and pages was daunting. I was overwhelmed. With our waitress’ helpful suggestions, we chose Green Curry w mixed vegetables & a side of Jasmin rice, and Pad Thai Noodles w beef. My wife liked her green curry. However, when I sampled it there was a peculiar taste created by the coconut milk in it that I didn’t enjoy. The Pad Thai Noodles dish with beef was unimpressively brown with crushed peanuts atop. The beef was tender. However, despite it and the nuts, the dish lacked texture, and apart from a few cuts of tasty green onion missed freshness. If these two entrées are typical Thai dishes I don’t see what’s so appealing. I want you to know, I’m not shading the restaurant, a lot of ppl love this place. It’s just now I’m pretty convinced Thai isn’t my favorite Asian cuisine.

I was recently introduced to Ithaiz for a party. At the party, we were served a wide sampling of the menu, and I was really impressed. I had decided that, given time and occasion, I would come back. Tonight was that night. Being that I have been dreadfully sick the past few weeks, I just wanted something homey and, honestly, gentle on the system. So, I picked the Thai Noodle Soup. It was incredible. By far, the best chicken noodle soup I’ve ever had.

Called my order in and had a few questions and the woman was incredibly helpful. The Yum Yum salad with beef was fresh and very flavorful. This is my favorite thing to order at Thai restaurants and theirs is at the top of my list. The the broccoli lovers with shrimp was also delicious and had a slightly sweet flavor to it, which balanced out the American spicy level very well.

the food was just okay it was basically a $25.89 disappointment. I had stir fried veggies and chicken and spring rolls, very basic hard to get wrong stuff. it tasted okay but would have been happier going to the grocery store across the parking lot and making my own, yielding a better portion for much less money. absolutely nothing entices me to go back. the Waiter that took my order was the most pleasant part of that experience.

Like others have said, the aesthetic of this place is 5 Star. Beautiful setup for a local Thai restaurant. I’d take a date here. Seating was nice and open. The crab cake was not like a Baltimore crab cake, where I’m from, but I really enjoyed it. It was really crispy and delicious. Didn’t really need the sweet and sour sauce but I enjoyed it even more with it. I got the Bangkok chicken. It was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I really enjoyed it. The display was beautiful with the heart shaped rice and the garnishes on the chicken. A+ all around! They are making a real effort here. Service was really fast which I really appreciate.

Throws you off whennyou walk in at the shopping center love the interior. The staff was really friendly and prompt. We ordered and got our food in a reasonable amount of time. This curry buns are awesome. Love to try some other things on the menu. Ask for about a medium hotness on my entree and came out just right. Will be back.

What a wonderful little gem! The service was great, (this pretty lady was seating, taking orders, serving and taking payments too!) Whew! And the food was perfection! The curry puffs were very good and quite large. Crispy outside, soft and delectable inside. The Massaman curry with chicken was mouthwateringly good and quite spicy at a 2 out of 5. Delish!!
