Visited while on vacation with our three teenagers. All agreed it was hands down the best meal we’ve had our entire vacation. The menu was huge and definitely has something for everyone. Portions were large and we enjoyed trying each other’s meals. We sat in the outdoor patio area, which was pleasantly decorated with flowers. Our server, Fabiola, was friendly, informative and attentive. Just wish we lived closer so that we could come back frequently!! Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!!!

I think the food at La Taguara is amazing, both in house, and in probably the best takeout experience I’ve ever had. The cuisine is similar to Cuban, for those who have not had a lot of Venezuelan. In fact, the Cuban sandwich is one of my favorites, even though it’s more simple and familiar than some of their dishes – but because it’s just so good, I frequently get it anyway! All of the appetizers are amazing and would make great party food or tailgating munchies thru takeout. Breakfast and regular entrees have all been amazing – the corn pancake, the pabellon, the arepas – everything has always been outstanding. The location allows for a good atmosphere and open space, though still a little reminiscent of the Uno’s that clearly proceeded it – but that’s mostly a good thing. Service has always been good, and fast. I hope they’re here for a long time to come .

We were very happy with everything we tried, with the arepas stealing the show (obviously). Great flavors and ingredients and fast service (for lunch at least). The beer selection is impressive, while the cocktails were not as inspired. They could definitely improve in that regard in the future, but overall a really great Venezuelan restaurant! We will definitely be back soon.

We stopped here for lunch on a weekday. Service was fast, which worked very well for a work day. I had a shredded chicken arepa. It was pretty good. The building itself still has the vibes from when it was Unos pizza. This probably also contributes to the menu being fairly robust. It’s worth checking out if you are interested in Venezuelan cuisine.

We were so excited after seeing a post on Reddit about this place. There were a few people that loved it and I’m not sure if we ordered poorly or if there were issues in the kitchen, but almost everything we ordered has little flavor. We got the sampler platter and the empanadas were really good. The sauces that came with it were really good as well, everything else on the platter was ok. My girlfriend ordered pabellón and it didn’t have much flavor. I ordered the steak with onions and it didn’t have much flavor either. The service was good and there were many people helping out. Overall I’m not sure if we can try it again, I’m just not sure what happened between the Reddit reviews and our experience.

Wonderful place! Food was great. Our server was pleasant and suggested some items,which were excellent. Upon leaving I left my credit card behind but didn’t realize it until the next day. I called to let them know. They had put in their safe and were more than willing to mail it to me! When I received it in the mail, the manager wrote a note to please let him know I had received it. Very nice of them to do this for me.
